Being a Lived-In-Colour-Specialist, natural regrowth makes my heart sing.

Having AT LEAST 12 weeks of natural regrowth gives me the opportunity to create a foil or balayage placement that still offers a shadowed, lived-in root without total saturation.
Meaning my clients can go longer in-between appointments and their colours look more ✨expensive✨

With that said, it’s a very fine line between leaving enough depth at the root and equally not getting enough foils in.
Not getting enough foils in through the root area will leave the colour looking disconnected still.

I’ve achieved the perfect balance today with a Full Head Of Foils, Face Framing Foils and a Gloss Toner. Finished with my signature waves.

At just 18 years old, I’d rented a chair for a short while, then I rented a garage conversion off my partner at the time but I wanted to feel settled in a salon with a shop front, in prime location with a high footfall where I could establish myself & grow the brand I’d dreamt of when I was little.

… that’s when I found 51 Worcester Road in lockdown 2020.
A salon which was more than I ever dreamt possible.
Almost too good to be true.
The current tenant wanted to come out of her lease early but was risking losing her initial deposit. I was introduced to her the evening before, I called her up and she said “do you want to come and view the premises tomorrow?”
So I did.
I fell in love with it as soon as I stepped foot inside.
That evening I confirmed that I’d be taking on the lease!

I’ve now had my salon 6 years & I was approached by my landlords in April this year to tell me that they were selling the building.
I just went completely into panic mode.
And then they said “we want to give you first refusal to buy it”

After a lot of thought, I came to the decision that I couldn’t let this opportunity go.
This was my second home. This business is my baby. It’s my livelihood!
It’s my sanity in a life of chaos - my clients are now my friends & family.
I couldn’t risk losing what I’d spent so many years dreaming about & building up.

I scheduled a meeting with my financial advisor & over a cappuccino with someone hot in their game, I was given the green light to go ahead & purchase my salon premises.

On the 25th June, I had a phone call to tell me that I’d had my Commercial Mortgage accepted!!✨🍾🥂❤️
A dream come true & an investment I can hand down to my daughter when the time is right ❤️
