The washing spins gently, the ironing’s neat,
Making worn-out clothes feel fresh and complete.

Royal Buckley Town Band fills the air with a tune,
Brass notes dancing beneath the felt moon.

At Crumbs Sandwich Bar, there’s chatter and cheer,
With tasty food drawing friends far and near.

Bistre Farm Shop’s butcher prepares with great care,
The finest fresh cuts to be found anywhere.

And Hair At No 1, with scissors that glide,
Keeps Buckley’s felt folk full of town pride.

So here’s to Buckley, both cosy and small,
A little felt town with room for us all.
