It makes me smile when someone has ordered a little bit of everything and I get to see all the wonderful colours in one box, because great skincare shouldn't be boring!

These have been an even bigger hit than I could have ever hoped they'd be! I'm going to have to place a third order for the aluminum tins soon and this week will be focused on making more mini deodorants to go in the boxes as well as making more Muscle Rub magnesium balms as these have been out of stock ever since I sold about 20 of them all in one day.... Crazy!

You can order the self care collections online and i'll get shipped out this week - boho blooms will be shipped next week as I have to make up more lotion bars and bath melts for those ones 🌹

It's a brand new event happening at Cheltenham Leisure with Craft & Flea so if you're in the area and are looking for some cool earrings, funky ceramics, art work for your walls or some lovely self care bits for yourself then absolutely don't miss this today - from 11 til 4. ⭐

The reality is that some weeks I might have one or 2 orders come in, a wax melt here and a serum there, but then every so often, I'll get multiple orders a day!

This week has had plenty of those days - it's been absolutely fantastic having to make daily trips to the post office which means I actually do leave the workshop for some fresh air!

So here's a snippet of some of the things you've been ordering including a few of the new gift tins, serum and cleansing balms, muscle rubs, a few soaps, bath melt discoveries and lots of wax melts too.

As everything is made as fresh as I can and with small batches (yes really - Lush may call 5000 a small batch, but for me, I call 30 a large batch), this means I'll definitely have my work cut out restocking all of your favourites.

To buy in person this weekend I'll be in Leeds in the Corn Exchange with the Mindful Market, hosted by the wonderful Bianca!

That's the aim, the reality is, I'm probably going to run out of one thing or another. Plus it's an early-ish finish for me today as I'm going out to a gig! Woo!

It's a busy looking October with events from Manchester all the way down to Cheltenham and across to Newcastle.

First up it's this weekend with the - Saturday I've a spot at the beautiful Sheffield Cathedral, then Sunday I shall be visiting the Newcastle Boiler Shop for the first time whilst Eli is heading the stall at Leeds Left bank.

You may notice I still have a couple of weekends free in October so with any luck I'll find a few more worthy markets to bring Wild Venus to. ⭐️

Over thinker! Over planner! Over complicated?

Before most events, I spend a few hours thinking about the layout of my stand and products - however with a floor plan sometimes only sent the day before, it's not always possible to get it all figured out and this weekend I was thrown a real curve ball!

With my usual L shaped turned inside out and back to front in a very tight space, somehow I had one of the best trading days ever!

People were so patient and queuing up to have a smell of all the soaps which were kinda hard to get to in a corner.

I don't deal with unexpected things so well which is why I plan as much as I can.... My van also didn't start in the morning which caused the entire weekend to be thrown up in the air.

But I'm through it now and so grateful to everyone who came by to see me and Wild Venus in Sheffield, Leeds and Nottingham. Soooo many regulars turned up in Leeds to grab their deodorants and cleansers, Nottingham - you were fabulous! The Boho Blooms gift box sold out twice! (Sheffield and Nottingham) And Nottingham you also sold me out of serum and cleanser gift sets!

So a big old thank you from this lady who is having herself a Monday off, brunch in bed, a long bath and a lazy trip to the cinema.

I'll be back next weekend - again in Leeds at the Corn Exchange and hopefully I'll have the camper up and running again to help me get down to Cheltenham on a Sunday.
