🖤 A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESSES 🖤

Until you’ve been self-employed, you might not realise how much last-minute cancellations and no-shows can affect a small business.

Imagine turning up for work, ready to earn your wages, only to be told you’re no longer needed and won’t be paid for those hours. That’s how it can feel when an appointment is cancelled at the last minute.

My appointments are my work, and that income helps support my family. I also pay for appointment reminder texts to be sent, so when bookings are cancelled at the last minute or clients don’t communicate, it costs me both time and money.

I completely understand that life happens, and I’m always happy to try to rearrange appointments when you let me know. ❤️ All I ask is for a little communication and consideration.

🖤 A QUICK REMINDER OF MY BOOKING POLICY:

✨ Appointments must be confirmed through Fresha within 48 hours of receiving your confirmation request, or they will be cancelled.

✨ Cancellations within 72 hours incur a 50% cancellation fee.

✨ No-shows without notice incur a 100% fee of the booked service total.

✨ Please ensure your saved card details are valid and able to cover any applicable charges.

These policies apply to all appointments at Boo Beauty & Piercings, including nails, beauty treatments and piercings.

I’m not unreasonable, and I don’t expect people never to change their plans. I simply ask that you communicate with me and respect the time I’ve set aside for you.

Please remember that behind every small business is a real person working hard to earn a living and support their family.

Please respect my time as you would expect your own time and wages to be respected. 🖤
