Cyncoed Dental

A quick question we ask at your appointment can tell us a great deal:

"What medications are you taking?"

For many patients, it feels like a routine admin question. In reality, it can be an important part of your dental care.

Some medicines can contribute to dry mouth, mouth soreness, taste changes, bleeding considerations or other changes that matter in the dental chair.

That’s why we encourage patients to share the full picture — not just prescriptions, but supplements, herbal products and over-the-counter medicines too.

It all helps us plan your care more thoughtfully, more safely and more personally.

If anything has changed since your last visit, let us know at your next appointment.

We might be a little biased, but we know which one we'd choose. 🤍

Whether you're considering teeth whitening, exploring your smile options or simply giving your dental health a little more attention, we're here when you're ready.

Your smile deserves a little investment too.

This year, Cyncoed as you know and love it turned 10 🤍

So last week we gave the outside a little birthday glow-up too, new signage, gorgeous new blinds and, after many years, we said goodbye to the flowers 🌸

But while this version of Cyncoed Dental is celebrating 10 years, the practice itself has actually been part of Cyncoed since 1960.

We found a few photos from over the years and had to share them. It’s changed quite a bit… but it’s very special to think of how many generations of local families have walked through our doors.

Do you remember Cyncoed Dental looking like this? We’d love to hear how far back you remember us 🦷✨

Good teeth. Good energy. Kinda chic 🤍
Welcome to Cyncoed Dental.

A smile transformation that’s about more than just straight teeth ✨

For this patient, we used a combination of:

🦷 Invisalign to straighten the teeth and improve the bite
🤍 Natural whitening to brighten the smile while keeping the result looking natural
✨ Minimal composite bonding to refine the shape and proportions of selected teeth

By improving how the teeth meet together as well as how they look, we were able to create a smile that feels more balanced, natural and harmonious, without over-treating the teeth.

The aim was never to create a “perfect” smile, but one that still looked completely like them… just healthier, brighter and more confident.

So when patients describe our team as caring, professional, reassuring and attentive… that’s exactly what we hope Cyncoed Dental feels like. 🫶

✨ A cleaner smile, without the “hygienist dread”.

Our Diamond Clean is designed to give your teeth that fresh, polished feeling while thoroughly removing plaque and stubborn surface staining, think coffee, tea, red w**e and all the little things that can dull your smile over time.

It’s more than just making your teeth look cleaner. Regular hygiene appointments play an important part in keeping your gums healthy and your smile feeling its best.

That just-left-the-dentist clean? Nothing quite like it. 🦷✨
