A little booking update 🤍

Following a run of last-minute cancellations and no-shows, we’ve updated our booking policies to help protect our time and our business.

We understand that life happens and plans sometimes change. But appointments left empty at short notice mean lost income and time that could have been offered to another client.

Since Wednesday 21st October, colour appointments over £60 require card details to confirm the booking. These must be added within 24 hours, otherwise the system will automatically cancel your appointment.

No payment is taken when you add your card. You’ll still pay for your service in the salon as usual. Your card will only be charged for a last-minute cancellation or no-show, in line with our cancellation policy.

This policy also applies to appointments booked with Caitlyn’s Hair Chair.

A huge congratulations to Katie, who has completed her NVQ Level 3 and is officially a qualified hairdresser! ✂️🎉

It’s such a lovely moment watching someone you’ve helped train reach this milestone. The learning, the practice, the assessments and all the work behind the scenes have brought her here, and she deserves to feel so proud of herself.

And she’s been adding to her skills too, successfully passing her weave and nano hair extensions course 👏

Katie, I’m so proud of how far you’ve come, and I’m excited to see you take this next step in your career with us at JR.

Our signature JR Colour Melt is all about creating a seamless transition between tones, softening harsh regrowth and bringing tired blondes back to life.

For this transformation, we worked with the existing blonde, creating a softer, more balanced finish with beautiful dimension, shine and movement.

The result? A gorgeous, creamy beige blonde with a natural-looking blend that will grow out beautifully. 😍

From a tired blonde to a beautifully blended, soft, dimensional colour melt, bringing warmth, richness and life back into these locks.

And the best part? **Absolutely NO BLEACH was used in the making of this colour melt!** 🙌

But as much as I love the finished result, it was the message I received afterwards that really made my day. 🥹

Sometimes hairdressing is about so much more than hair. It's about how someone feels when they leave your chair. A little confidence boost, a fresh perspective, or simply feeling a bit more like themselves again.

Party season prep is looking rather bouncy at JR ✨

Madison has been busy practising her curly blow-dries, working on that lovely mix of volume, soft curls and movement. And how gorgeous is this result? 🤎

There’s so much skill behind a good blow-dry, and we’re proud to see her confidence growing with every bit of practice.

A first worth celebrating ✂️👏

Our Academy Stylist Madison recently aced her first short graduation and uniform layer combination cut in the salon, and I’m so proud of her!

Learning how the sections, angles and guides connect is such an important part of building confidence in cutting. Seeing it all come together is one of my favourite parts of teaching 🤍

With our next JR Academy training day coming up on **Monday 19th October**, we’re looking for **two models wanting a short haircut similar to the one pictured**.
