With temperatures soaring, please take extra care of yourself and your loved ones. ❤️

💧 Keep hydrated — drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don’t feel thirsty.

🌳 Stay in the shade or somewhere cool as much as possible, particularly during the hottest part of the day.

🚶‍♀️ Avoid unnecessary walks and strenuous exercise while the temperatures are this high. If you don’t need to go out, stay somewhere cool and take it easy.

🧴 If you do need to go outside, cover up, wear a hat and use SPF. Try to avoid direct sunlight during the hottest hours.

⚠️ Heat exhaustion and heat stroke can become serious very quickly, so please don’t underestimate how dangerous extreme temperatures can be.

And remember to check in on elderly relatives, vulnerable people, neighbours and pets too. 🐾❤️
