Trying on a wig for the first time can feel overwhelming, especially when you still have your full head of hair!

In this fitting, Rebecca shows how we navigate fitting a wig over natural hair using a wig cap. While fitting over existing hair can feel a bit bulkier during consultations, it helps us accurately match tones, cap sizing, and styles so you feel completely confident in your final look.

And as you can see from Lily’s final look, finding the perfect shade and fit makes all the difference! 💫

In this episode of Behind the Chair, Rebecca shares her passion for volunteering with the Look Good Feel Better workshops at the Maggie’s Centre at Glan Clwyd.

These free, monthly workshops are dedicated to ladies currently undergoing or within 24 months of cancer treatment. It’s a safe, supportive space to connect with women facing similar journeys, enjoy a 12-step skincare and makeup tutorial, and take home a beautiful bag of donated beauty products. 🛍️💄

Starting in September, we’re expanding to two sessions on the last Wednesday of every month, allowing us to welcome 20 women each month!

Whether you want to learn practical beauty tips or simply drop in for a chat and a coffee, you are so welcome.
