18 months ago I was writing software. This week, someone paid me to build them a sauna. 🔥

Last year I walked away from my corporate tech job to build Cheshire’s first authentic wood-fired Nordic sauna and cold plunge. No shortcuts, no cheap barrel on a trailer — a proper, high-spec Finnish sauna, built by hand, with a real stove at the heart of it.

A year of building taught us exactly what it takes to do this right. And it turns out you don’t need to charge a fortune to build something properly.

Here’s what I really believe: the UK needs more of these. We’re burnt out, glued to screens, and a good sauna does something no app ever will — it slows you down and brings you back to feeling human.

Farndon isn’t shut. 🔥

There are water works on the B5130 and it’s caused a bit of chaos, but the road into us is very much open — A41 through Broxton from Chester, or 15 minutes down the A534 if you’re coming from Wrexham or Flintshire.

We’ve only been here since May and the welcome from this village has been unreal. Every business along this road is feeling it right now, so if you’re coming out our way, make a proper trip of it and go see them too.
