HIFU patient Journey 💫
This lovely lady came to me wanting to reduce signs of ageing and ultimately wanted to feel more like herself again.
She had noticed that her lower jaw and lost elasticity and firmness and wanted to have a lift that allowed her to feel rejuvenated and more defined.
So we discussed the option of HIFU (high intensity focused ultrasound) that penetrates the different depths of the facial structure to give long lasting results.
The first image shows her before treatment, second image shows immediately after treatment , and third image shows you the before and after and her review 💌
She was really happy with her results and stated it was exactly what she was looking for.

Aesthetics should never be about making someone feel that they are not enough.
I see it time and time again in this industry, marketing that focuses on people’s “pain points” and makes them question themselves:
“Does your face lack structure?”
“Does your face sag?”
“Do you look tired?”
“Do you need to fix this?”
But why would we make our patients feel inadequate in order to sell them a treatment?
There is a huge difference between helping someone achieve something they genuinely want and making them believe they need to change in order to be worthy, confident or beautiful.
As practitioners, we have a responsibility to listen to our patients’ wants, understand their motivations and guide them with honesty and ethics.
Because aesthetics can enhance how we feel about ourselves—but it cannot heal everything happening underneath.
True self-worth has to come from within.
You can change your appearance, soften a line, restore volume or enhance a feature, but if the belief underneath is “I’m not good enough unless I look different,” no treatment will ever be enough.
That is why I believe healing self-worth internally matters just as much as caring for ourselves externally.
Aesthetic treatments should complement your confidence—not create it.
My hope in writing From the Outside Looking In was to open up this conversation: that we can love aesthetics while also remembering that our value was never dependent on our reflection.
You deserve to feel confident because of who you are, not because you have finally “fixed” something about yourself.
