🤎 LET’S TALK ABOUT SCABBING… 👀

If you’ve recently had your powder brows done and they’ve started to scab, PLEASE don’t panic! 🫶🏼

Scabbing and flaking are a completely NORMAL part of the healing process. Your brows might look darker, patchy, uneven or even like some of the colour has disappeared… but don’t worry, this is all part of the journey! 🤎

✨ A few things to remember:
🤎 DO NOT pick, peel or scratch your scabs!
🤎 Let them shed naturally.
🤎 Keep following your aftercare instructions.
🤎 Don’t judge your final results while they’re healing!

Once the scabs have come away, your brows can look much lighter, and the colour will gradually start to settle back in over the following weeks.

TRUST THE PROCESS! 🤍

Your brows need time to heal, so please be patient with them. The final result isn’t what you see in the first few days!

And remember, your top-up appointment is there to perfect any areas that may need a little extra love once your skin has fully healed. ✨

The brows are fresh out the chair here, so the redness will of course settle right down and the colour will soften as they heal.

As much as I’m loving learning all things brows and lip blush, you really can’t beat a throwback to lashes 🥹

Something I’ve been doing for over 10 years now, and where I’ve met some amazing people and made some proper friends along the way. My lash clients keep me mega busy and I’m so grateful for that 🫶🏼

I’m learning lots with SPMU and I’m still finding my feet with it all, but everyone has to start … like lashes, it’s takes time and I’m here for the journey!

What a difference a brow makes 🤎

Fresh powder brows, literally just finished ✨

They’re always darker and more defined immediately after treatment, so don’t panic 😂 They’ll soften, fade and settle as they heal, leaving a much softer, more natural finish.

She had very little brow definition to start with, so it’s amazing what adding some shape and colour can do!

This is immediately after treatment - I’ll share the healed result once they’ve settled 👀

✨ TRUST THE PROCESS ✨

Last night my lovely client left me with lips that looked a little patchy, slightly bruised, uneven in colour and with some areas of blanching. And I’m not going to lie… I was stressing! 😅

As a perfectionist, it’s hard not to overthink things when you’re staring at freshly treated lips and wondering how they’re going to heal.

BUT… this is exactly why we have to trust the process. 🤍

Fast forward to this morning and look at them! 😍

The colour has already started to settle, the lips are looking much more even and you can see how different they can look just overnight.

Fresh lip blush can look VERY different to the healed result. Swelling, blanching, bruising and uneven colour immediately after treatment can all make things look much more dramatic than they will once everything settles.

So if you’re considering lip blush and you see your lips looking a little crazy immediately afterwards - DON’T PANIC! (Note to self)😂

Healing is a process, and sometimes you just have to step away, have a cuppa, get some sleep and let your lips do their thing. ☕️😂

And this morning… I’m breathing again! 🥹🤍
