✨ A little life & work catch-up because apparently I’ve forgotten how to post on Instagram 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

August off work is great so far☀️ and I can honestly say I’m LOVING it 🤍
So far August has consisted of…
🐶 Adding a new puppy to the madness
🎢 Days out with my sister & nieces
🏡 Finally getting around to finishing rooms in our house
🛒 More IKEA trips with Luke than I’d like to admit 😂

ANDDDD amongst all of that, I had the best content day with the wonderful Gemma 📸🎥✨ We captured SO much

I did warn Gemma beforehand that tattooing especially lip blush deffo does NOT have you sitting or standing at the most flattering angles 😂🙃 and for some unknown reason I also decided colouring my hair the NIGHT BEFORE a content shoot was a good idea……it wasn’t 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

And then there was my lovely model 👄✨ I chose her because the second I saw her lips I thought… I NEED to tattoo those 😂😍 She was so much fun to work with and I absolutely loved creating these lips. I already can’t wait to see her back for her top-up and see how they’ve healed! 💋

✨ Annual Lip Blush Refresh ✨

My lovely client Sophie came back for her annual colour refresh💋

Everyone heals and fades differently, and one of the biggest factors is your skin. Sophie has naturally drier lip tissue and has used various creams over the years to help manage it. If you have dry lips, eczema, or dry skin around the mouth, you may find your lip blush benefits from a refresh every 12 months, or sometimes a little sooner.

Even after a year, her faded result is still a huge improvement from her before photo, giving her lips a stronger defined Cupids bow and softer, healthier-looking colour without starting from scratch.

For this refresh, I tweaked the pigment blend slightly to better suit her healed result and desired colour.

🖤 LIP BLUSH & COMBINATION BROWS 🖤

What a transformation day with Molly ✨

Before we even started, we spent some time chatting through all of the different brow styles and lip blush options to make sure everything was tailored to her rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

For the brows, we chose Combination Brows as they ticked every box for what Molly wanted 👌🏼 Natural fluffy fronts, soft shading through the body of the brow and added definition to create shape without looking too harsh.

For the lips, we sat down with my book of healed lip blush results and looked through different healed colours and outcomes. After seeing how various colours heal, we picked a beautiful custom mix that we both felt would complement Molly’s natural lip tone perfectly 💋

One of the things I love most about permanent makeup is that no two clients are ever the same. The shape, colour and technique should always be chosen around the individual, not what’s currently trending ✨

We had such a lovely day and lots of laughs, and I can’t wait to see how everything heals and welcome Molly back for her top-up appointment 🖤

I went to Disneyland Paris with my mum, sister and my 2 nieces 🥹🎀✨ Let’s just say… my legs completely gave up on me, my back was in bits and I was absolutely shattered 😂😂🙊

We honestly had the loveliest time though 🏰💖 Late nights, lots of laughs, loads of rides, way too much food 🍟🍕🍩 and ALOT of walking 🚶🏼‍♀️😂 Mainly photos of my nieces 😂 they made it even so magical and I genuinely loved every second of it 🥹✨

We’re already talking about booking for next year because now we actually know what we’re doing 😂🙈

I would definitely recommend Disneyland Paris if you’re thinking about going 🏰✨ but please prepare yourself for confusion at first because EVERYTHING is barcodes, apps and scanning passes 📱🎟️😂 Bring back just handing over paper tickets honestly 🙃😂

Now back to reality, messages, PMU and catching up on life.

2 sessions are required for the best results as results can vary massively from person to person, which is completely normal. I have explained WHY below but here are some healed lips after one session only to also show you visually >>>> 🖤

Things like your natural lip colour, lip texture, dryness, retention, scar tissue, filler, lifestyle and the overall condition of the lips all play a huge part in how the pigment heals and holds.

For example, clients with very dry or cracked lips can sometimes heal patchy because the skin is struggling to retain the pigment evenly. Textured lips can also heal differently and may never look quite as smooth once healed because of the natural texture already within the lip tissue. Those with a small amount of filler will often heal smoother, as the lip tissue is more stretched and even.

This is why lip prep before your appointment is so important. Regular lip scrubs and keeping the lips hydrated with a good lip balm can make a big difference to how evenly the lips heal and retain colour 🖤

Top up appointments are needed to perfect the lip blush because everybody’s lips heal differently. The second session allows me to reinforce colour, correct any patchiness and build the healed result further if the lips are able to retain more pigment.

Been creating lots of beautiful lips recently! I love how creative it is and how every client is so different! 💋🎨🫟. While the lips are numbing I’ll always swatch some colours for clients to see! I rarely use the same mix on the same client due to our different undertones and natural lip tissue ❤️

For this client I used a mix of Alicante, Los Angelos and a drop of Cranberry to make it pop 🍬🍭 .uk

Lip blush journey so far 💋 This is before the 6 week top up… I’ll be seeing my client again soon for her lash line tattoo so I’ll grab the final healed result after both sessions are complete

I’m OBSESSED with this colour 😍 a custom mix of cherry, rose & soft beige. I love pink tones, they look fresher, more youthful and they age really nicely in the lip tissue over time

It’s so important to see healed results as well as the before and immediately after. Straight after can look bold, bright and a little swollen but they always soften and heal beautifully ✨
