We’re all guilty of a few questionable hairdresser habits.

But that’s the thing about this industry… there’s always something new to learn, something we can do better and usually something we can have a good laugh about along the way.

Whether it’s getting more confident with curls, talking about money, recommending homecare or remembering to actually drink our coffee while it’s hot. ☕️

If you’re new here you might not know that the last salon I was in closed down , and honestly I s**t myself 🫠
It wasn’t my fault, but it didn’t change the fact that it made me question myself, my skills, and what I was doing with my career.
Thankfully I found Emma and she totally invested in the idea of learning more about working with curls, but at the time that’s really all we thought it was - just improving our skills behind the chair with what we already did.
Fast forward a few years and somehow it’s become what we’re known for in our area, and it’s driven us to build our education platform to help bring that same knowledge to other stylists too.
I know it sounds cliche, but sometimes it really is true that being shoved out of your comfort zone can really bring the most amazing changes 🤍
