I went to for an autumn jacket try on and ended up trying on my dream coat.

From the Nobody’s Child barn jacket and ONLY quilted jacket to a checked Rails bomber and green ANINE BING bomber, there were so many lovely autumn layers. Then came two gorgeous long coats from Weekend Max Mara, including the camel coat I’ve been dreaming about for years!

Let me know which jacket or coat is your favourite?

Wow I really did lose my way with style in my 40s. Now I’m 55, having fun finding it again and figuring out what makes me feel good again.

I’ve shared how I got here in my style series, which you will find on my grid so follow for more if you’re finding your way back to your style too.

Your favourite duo is back! Trying on some pieces and showing how they work for me with a fuller bust & Flavia with fuller hips (& bootay!)
We’re a similar height, different shape and different age

A little M&S try-on to cheer myself up after twinging my lower back at the gym this morning 😅
The soft brown jumper with its Fair Isle-style yoke and the barrel-leg jeans caught y eye straight away.
I also tried a darker denim shirt, barrel cargo trousers that I’m not quite sure about, although I think they may work if I styled them differently.
Forgot to mention the burgundy brown wedge heeled boots!
Loved the cosy charcoal blue loungewear set.
It’s a shame the w**e coloured fleece didn’t quite work but loved the workout leggings!
Let me know which were your faves 🤍

I spent a fair bit of my 40s worrying about getting older. Now I’m 55 and, weirdly, I feel more like myself than I have in years.

This page is about some of the things that have helped me get here. Ageing, skincare, makeup, finding my style again, getting stronger and generally figuring things out as I go.

I ditched botox and filler and started getting used to the face looking back at me. I won’t pretend that was easy at first.

One thing that really helped was changing what I was looking at every day. I filled my feed with women who show up as themselves and make me feel good about getting older.
Maybe I can be one of those women for you.

I’m still a complete skincare ju**ie. I just approach it differently now.

My skin is more sensitive these days, so I’m big on hydration, looking after my skin barrier and not throwing every active going at my face.

I share what genuinely works for my mature skin, what doesn’t and the products I think are worth spending your money on.

And yes, I still get ridiculously excited about a new blush!

But what worked at 35 doesn’t always work the same way at 55. So I share products and little tricks that work beautifully on mature skin.

I want makeup to make me look like me. Just on a really good day.

I’d open my wardrobe and genuinely have no idea who I was dressing anymore.

In my 50s I started again. Not with a “capsule wardrobe” or following every new “trend”, but by working out what actually suited me and made me feel good.

I’m still figuring it out, but getting dressed is fun again.
P.S. I share the whole process in my Style Series which you will find on my grid.

If you’ve lost your style somewhere along the way too, you can find it again.

I didn’t really get into strength training until around 45 and I’ve been on and off with it plenty of times since.

Now at 55, I’m enjoying the gym more than ever and I love feeling stronger.

I’m not a PT and I’m definitely not perfect at it. I just want to show that starting later is still starting.

This is probably the part I’m still figuring as I go.

I’ve just start HRT and I’ll share that journey honestly along the way, including whether it makes any difference to m

Your autumn blush is served, you’re welcome.

Seriously, your new Armani Beauty Dolci blushes are giving the prettiest autumn flush.
I know I’m obsessed with blush and seem to love all the new blush releases but they are all so good lately!
If you stay right to the end of the video you’ll see my very glamorous struggle to get the lids back on. I’m still not sure what was going on there, am I the only one?

I love when a beauty brand grows with women, without making us feel as though ageing is something to fix.

That along with feeling valued was my biggest takeaway from a wonderful few hours with No7 this week. A Beauty brand listening to what women actually want from their skincare and makeup.

At 55, I want hydration, protection and glow. Products that work with my sensitive skin and help me feel like myself.

“Believe in possible” was the theme, and standing in front of the camera at 55, doing a job I love, it felt very personal.

Here’s to beauty brands that see possibility at every age. And to women who do too.

Which No7 product do you swear by?
