This September I’m taking just four learners onto my Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
It’s an Ofqual-regulated qualification, taught in a small, supportive beauty academy rather than a huge college environment.
No previous beauty experience is needed, and it’s suitable from age 16.

This September I'm welcoming a small group of learners aged 16+ into Make Me Shine Training Academy in Coventry to complete the:

🎓 Focus Awards Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy (RQF)
⭐ Ofqual recognised qualification

This isn't a huge college classroom.

I deliberately keep my groups small, so learners get plenty of individual support, practical experience and time with me.

I've worked within the beauty industry for around 15 years, and my academy is a fully equipped, professional training environment where learners can build their confidence as well as their skills.

They'll learn practical beauty treatments, build their portfolio and gain a recognised qualification that can help them take their next step into the beauty industry.

Make Me Shine Training Academy in Coventry has just four places available on our Ofqual-recognised Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, beginning 7 September 2026.

Open to learners aged 16+, with no specific GCSE entry requirements.

This is ideal for someone who loves beauty but would feel happier learning in a small, supportive academy rather than a large college environment.

They'll receive practical, hands-on training, personal support, kit and products, a uniform and guidance to help prepare for employment or eventually build their own beauty business!

✨ SOMETHING NEW IS COMING TO MAKE ME SHINE… ✨

I've been having some VERY exciting conversations about expanding what we can offer at the academy.

And I'm excited to announce that regulated beauty & nail units will soon be available to book individually!

This could be perfect if you:

✨ Don't need a full Level 2 qualification
✨ Already have some beauty experience or qualifications (CPD)
✨ Want to gain a recognised qualification in a specific area
✨ Want to add another treatment area to your existing skills
✨ Need a regulated qualification for progression, employment or your career

Rather than always having to commit to a full qualification, at the full price, we're looking at offering more flexible pathways, allowing you to work towards the specific skills and qualifications you need.

And also I'm...

looking at expanding our academy provision to include Level 3 and Level 4 beauty qualifications plus teacher training and assessment qualifications. Eek!
