This October, reminder to look after yourself

**🍑 EVER HEARD OF YOUR PIRIFORMIS MUSCLE?**

No? You're probably not alone! 👀

This little muscle sits deep in your buttock, and although it's small, it has an important job to do.

💗 It helps your hip rotate.
💗 It helps with hip movement and stability.
💗 Your sciatic nerve usually travels underneath it.
💗 If the area becomes irritated, it can sometimes contribute to pain or symptoms around the buttock and down the leg.

Now here's something interesting… 🤔

The piriformis and sciatic nerve are close neighbours, but **not every ache in your bum is sciatica, and not every case of sciatica is caused by the piriformis.**

Our bodies really are fascinating, aren't they?

As a massage and holistic therapist, I love sharing little snippets like this because understanding our bodies can help us become more aware of how we move and feel. 💆‍♀️

👇 **YOUR TURN!**

Have you ever heard of the piriformis muscle before today?

💕 YES, I knew about it!
💕 NO, that's a new one for me!

Tell me in the comments — I'm curious!

📌 **Save this post** for your next body-facts reminder, and share it with someone who loves learning something new.

These hands have done a lot of living… and they deserve a little love too. 💕✨**

As we get older, our hands can start to show the years a little more — so why not give them some well-deserved TLC?

A little nail care, a nourishing treatment and, of course… **plenty of sparkle** because age certainly doesn’t mean you have to give up the glitter! ✨💎

My lovely mature client absolutely ✨️loves her sparkle✨️, and I think these hands are proof that you’re never too old for gorgeous nails.

**Because your hands deserve to feel as pampered as the rest of you. 💕**

Look forward to doing your nails 💅🏼
