So here are three tips to help you pre-build your summer glow:

→ Start a few weeks before your holiday rather than rushing at the last minute.

→ Leave enough time between sessions so your skin can recover naturally.

→ Moisturise regularly to keep your skin healthy and help your tan last longer.

Building your tan gradually will always give a more even-looking result while helping you look after your skin.

We get asked all the time whether it’s worth getting a tan before you travel, and we always say yes.

Starting a few weeks before your holiday gives you time to build a natural glow gradually. Just don’t forget to hydrate, moisturise and to pile on that SPF once you’re in the sunshine - a base tan is never a replacement for protecting your skin.
