🌕✨ The Sturgeon Moon is here… and apparently the universe has some clearing up to do.

If you’ve been feeling a little more emotional, reflective, unsettled or like certain things in your life are coming to a head lately… take a breath. 🤍

This Full Moon is all about reflection, intuition, release and making space for what’s next. And with it falling in Pisces ♓️, I’m leaning into the softer stuff.

Less forcing. Less chasing. Less trying to control every outcome.

More trusting. More listening to that little voice inside you. More letting go of what you’ve already outgrown. 🌿

You don’t have to have your entire life figured out tonight. Maybe you just need to acknowledge what isn’t working anymore, be grateful for how far you’ve come and trust that releasing something doesn’t mean you’ve failed.

Sometimes it means you’re finally making room for something better. ✨

You are allowed to change your mind. You are allowed to change direction. You are allowed to outgrow people, places and versions of yourself.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply surrender and say:

“What’s meant for me won’t pass me by.” 🌕🤍

Save this for your Full Moon ritual and send it to someone who needs a little cosmic reminder today. 🪐

Please don’t scroll past this one. 🤍

I know how easy it is to put these things off.

You tell yourself you’ll book it next week. You’re busy. You’re tired. You’re embarrassed. Maybe you’ve had a difficult experience before. Maybe you’re scared of what they might find.

And sometimes, especially if you’ve experienced illness or trauma, letting someone examine your body can feel like a really big thing.

But your health deserves your attention too.

I’ve sat with women who have been through cancer, surgery, loss and some of the hardest chapters of their lives. I’ve seen how much these experiences can change you, physically and emotionally.

So I’m sharing this from a place of love, not fear.

Please check your cervical screening. Please go for your breast screening when you’re invited. And if you’ve been putting it off, let this be the little nudge you needed. 🤍

Tell the person doing your screening if you’re nervous. Ask for a female practitioner. Tell them about previous trauma. Take someone with you if that makes it easier.

You don’t have to pretend you’re not scared.

You just have to take that next step.

Your body is worth looking after. Your life is worth protecting. And you are worth finding early. 🤍

If grieving feels especially heavy right now, maybe you needed this reminder. 🤍

You loved them.
They knew it.

You said the things you needed to say.
You showed them love in all the ways you knew how.

And even though they’re no longer here, the love didn’t disappear.

You’re allowed to miss them.

You’re allowed to cry.

You’re allowed to have days where you feel okay and days where you feel like you’ve gone backwards.

Grief isn’t a sign that you’re not healing.

It’s simply what happens when someone mattered that much.

They are still a part of you , in your memories, your stories, the things they taught you, the little pieces of them you carry forward.

And perhaps this is the most beautiful way to look at grief:

What a privilege it is to love someone so much that you’ll miss them forever.

Be gentle with yourself today. 🤍

I’ve noticed something recently…

So many women come to me for their first ever tattoo in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond.

And almost every one of them has a story about why they waited.

“I was scared it would hurt.”

“I worried what people would think.”

“I was told tattoos weren’t for women like me.”

“I thought I’d regret it.”

“I just never felt brave enough.”

And honestly?

You don’t need to be brave to get a tattoo. You just need to feel ready.

You don’t have to have a huge, meaningful piece.

You don’t have to follow a trend.

You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.

You can choose something tiny, delicate and completely you.

And if you’re nervous, that’s okay.
I’ll talk you through it, I’ll answer all your questions.
I’ll make you tea. 😂

Because you don’t need to know how to be a tattoo client.

That’s my job. 🤍

So if you’ve secretly wanted a tattoo for years…

Maybe it’s time to stop waiting for permission.

You’re not too old, you’re not too late and you absolutely can!

Come as you are.
I’ll take care of the rest. 🤍

How are you so confident that your little business will work out?”

Because I know the founder. 🤍

I know how passionate I am about this work. I know how much it means to me to help women feel whole, confident and like themselves again after breast cancer. And I know I’ll keep showing up for them — so how could I not believe it will work out?

This is why I do what I do. As the Ni**le Nurse, I provide free ar**la tattooing for women following mastectomy and breast cancer treatment. 🩷

And a little reminder: this is not nudity. This is medical tattooing and breast reconstruction ,a vital part of someone’s healing journey. Please don’t report this post. Help me keep sharing this work so the women who need it can find me. 🫶🏼

Most importantly, please check your breasts regularly. Know what’s normal for you, and if something doesn’t feel or look right, please get it checked.

Breast cancer can affect anyone. Early detection matters. 🎀 **latattoo

I’ve been thinking about The Little Match Girl lately.

And weirdly, I’ve realised I relate to her more than I’d like to admit.

Not because I’m cold or alone, but because I’ve spent so much of my time as a business owner lighting another match to keep everything warm.

Another late night.

Another message.

Another booking.

Another idea.

Another thing that needs doing.

Another little bit of me given to the business I love so fu***ng much.

Because I genuinely love what I’ve created.

I nurse this business like it’s my baby.

And that’s probably part of the problem.

I’m so scared that if I stop, things will slow down.

That if I don’t reply quickly enough, someone will go elsewhere.

That if I take a day off, I’m somehow not working hard enough.

That if I stop pushing, it might all disappear.

So I keep lighting another match.

And another.

And another.

Meanwhile, I’m missing friends. Missing family. Missing quiet. Missing me.

And there’s something quite uncomfortable about realising that I’m building a business centred around healing, confidence and making people feel whole again…

whilst sometimes forgetting to give myself the same care.

So I’m learning that perhaps the goal isn’t to see how many matches I can burn.

It’s to build something that doesn’t require me to burn myself to keep it glowing.

I don’t have this figured out.

I’m still scared.

I’m still checking my phone.

I’m still working too much.

But I’m trying to learn that resting isn’t failing.

And protecting my own warmth isn’t selfish.

Because I don’t want to simply build a successful business.

I want to still be here to enjoy the life I’ve built it for. 🤍

I’ve been wanting to say some of this for a while, but I’ve been a bit scared to.

There’s a lot about owning a business that I don’t talk about.

I worry about money. I worry about bookings. My phone flashing can genuinely make me anxious because I’m always expecting someone to need something from me.

I work far more than I probably should, and I don’t see my friends and family anywhere near as much as I used to.

I still have moments where I question whether I’m actually good enough at tattooing. I still sometimes feel uncomfortable charging what I charge.

And then there’s the slightly more unusual side of me…

The oracle cards. The spiritual stuff. Being a witch. 😂

I’ve spent a long time worrying that being completely myself might put people off.

But I’m getting to the point where I don’t want to hide those parts anymore.

I absolutely love what I’ve built with The Sixth House. I’m incredibly proud of it.

But loving your business and finding it fu***ng hard sometimes can both be true.

So this is me being a little more honest about what actually goes on behind the scenes.

No big lesson. No pretending I’ve got it all figured out.

Just the truth. 🤍

There is so much more to a tattoo than what you see on the skin. 🤍

For some, it’s simply something beautiful.

For others, it’s a reminder of a person they love, a chapter they’ve survived, a body they’ve had to learn to love again, or a decision to finally choose themselves.

I’ve had the privilege of tattooing people through heartbreak, grief, illness, recovery, new beginnings and everything in between. And every single time, I’m reminded that there is a story behind the ink.

That’s why I never want you to feel like you’re “just booking a tattoo.”

I want to hear your story.
I want to understand what it means to you.
I want to create something completely bespoke that feels like you.

Because sometimes healing doesn’t look like letting go.

Sometimes it looks like taking something you’ve been through and turning it into something beautiful. 🌿

If you’re carrying a story you’d like to mark, whether it’s big, small, happy, heartbreaking or somewhere in between, my door is always open.

I’m here to listen.
I’m here to create.
I’m here to make the process feel safe, personal and completely yours.

And if I can help you heal, even just a little bit, it is a privilege I’ll never take for granted. 🤍

Some life lessons only make sense once you’ve lived through the chapter that taught them.

These are a few of the cheat codes I wish I’d learned sooner about peace, confidence, boundaries, criticism, chaos, and finally understanding that you don’t have to carry everyone else’s perception of you.

And maybe that’s the real cheat code: learning what’s yours to hold, and what you can finally put down.
