First of all i'd like to take this chance to introduce myself and share a little insight of my life.. My name is Amy and i have been a Reiki Practitioner since 2008 and qualified as a Beauty and Holistic Therapist in 2007. Since
I was trained as a Reiki Practitioner under the Usui System of Natural Healing, and achieved my first and second degree in the healing, it has changed me and my views of
the world...making things seem clearer about the opportunities i wish to pursue in my life. Reiki has personally helped me grow into a positive young lady that loves to live life to the fullest..and i know it benefits people in many different ways. I am self-employed, which allows me to spend time with my two kiddies and work on progressing my business which i love..so now let me tell you a bit about Reiki:
Reiki is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy, an energy which is around us all, it is a spiritual practice which was developed in 1922 by a Japanese Buddhist named Mikao Usui. Reiki is a form of therapy that include simple hands-on, no-touch, and visualization techniques, it's a healing approach that uses these techniques to channel healing energy to the client from the practitioner. Reiki practitioners, such as myself, are trained to detect and alleviate problems of energy flow on the physical, emotional, and spiritual level of the client. Reiki is used to relieve physical and emotional pain, to speed the healing process and balances the body's energy. It is used for stress reduction and relaxation, can
assist the body in cleaning itself from toxins, and also promotes better sleep.
