Sarah came and joined us today at the salon to have a cut and colour.

Sarah won’t need to visit the salon again for at least 4 months. This is a lived in colour.

Terry came in with a simple request today! She wanted to be a little lighter on the ends.

A simple request. No pictures of AI models WHO ARE NOT REAL. I’ve had clients come in with chat GBT…! Trying to tell me what colours to use. Like I’ve been doing hair for 23years I think I kinda now what I’m doing.

Chat GBT doesn’t know the texture of ur actual hair, the condition, the natural root colour, how ur hair lifts, how your hair responds to lightener, how you look after your hair, how often you visit the salon, if you have ever boxed coloured your hair…! The fu***ng list goes on.

Anyway. Terrys hair turned out fab. I’m delighted and so is she.

This after picture looks slightly softer in this light. To the naked eye is more whiter.

Ive been colouring my aunts hair for a life time. As the years passed the hair got naturally light, and we continued to tint the roots year after year. It was dark brown.

I think for the past 5 years I’ve been asking her to ditch the colour. Then about 2 years ago she decided to embrace the natural and stop colouring, cold turkey, literally through sheer grit and determination over a 2 year period she got to this amazing naturally tonal colour.

She said she feels free. How flipping amazing.
