Today marks the anniversary of the surgery that became the first day of the rest of my life.

Living with Chiari malformation meant facing brain and skull surgery—not once, but twice. I don’t do things by halves 😂

It was one of the hardest chapters of my life, physically, mentally, and emotionally. But it also taught me strength in ways I never thought possible. Qualities I show to my daughter everyday

Today marks the first day of the rest of my life… with less skull. 🧠💜

My scar is a reminder of everything I’ve survived, every setback I’ve overcome, and every day I’ve fought to keep moving forward.

To everyone who stood beside me through it all, thank you. And to anyone facing their own battle—you are stronger than you know.

Here’s to survival, healing, and appreciating every day we’re given. We’ve got this ✌🏽
