One thing thatโs always been important to me is making sure my students leave with more than just a certificate.
Anyone can teach you how to stick lashes on. I want my students to understand why theyโre doing what theyโre doingโlash health, isolation, mapping, styling, retention, client safety and how to create sets theyโre genuinely proud to put their name to.
Reading messages like these is a reminder that the way I teach is doing exactly what itโs meant to do. Not just helping someone pass a course, but helping them build confidence, improve their work and feel ready to start (or grow) a career in the industry.
I also donโt believe your training should end when you walk out the door. Whether itโs a question the next day or two years later, my students know they can still message me. That ongoing support is something Iโll always stand by.

๐ฅ 5 Things I Wish I Knew Before Becoming a Lash Artist
1. Charge Your Worth Sooner
When I first started, I thought charging less would attract more clients. What actually happened was I worked longer hours for less money and attracted clients who didnโt value my skills.
I wish I had understood that pricing isnโt just about lashesโitโs about your time, expertise, products, experience and the results you deliver. The right clients will pay for quality.
2. Invest In Education Early
The courses, mentors and training I invested in helped me grow so much faster than trying to figure everything out myself.
Education isnโt an expenseโitโs an investment. Every skill Iโve learned has helped me improve my results, build confidence and increase my income.
3. Focus On Retention, Not Just Full Sets
I used to think getting new clients was the goal. Now I know that keeping clients is what builds a successful business.
A beautiful full set means nothing if your clients arenโt returning. Retention, client experience and aftercare are what create loyal clients who come back month after month.
4. Build Your Personal Brand From Day One
People donโt just buy treatmentsโthey buy into people.
I wish I had shown my face more, shared my journey and built my personal brand sooner. Clients want to know whoโs behind the business, and future students want to learn from someone they trust.
Your personal brand can open doors that your services alone cannot.
5. Consistency Beats Perfection
I spent too much time waiting for the perfect logo, perfect content, perfect photos and perfect timing.
The truth is, consistency wins every time.
Showing up regularly, improving as you go and staying committed will take you further than perfection ever will.
