From an old tattoo and surgical scars to beautiful peonies! 🌸

We've started a very special cover-up project, transforming an old tattoo and surgical scars into two beautiful, matching peonies at CoffeeFox Tattoo Studio

Session 1 – Completed! ✅
We covered the old tattoo, carefully redesigning and adjusting the peony to work with the existing tattoo and the natural shape of the scars.

Session 2 – Coming next!
We'll focus on the surgical scar cover-up, creating the second matching peony.

Session 3 – Final touches!
Once everything has healed, we'll refine the shading, tones and details.

Scar tissue has its own texture, raised areas and natural shadows, so choosing the right grey tones takes careful planning. That's why we're allowing time for healing before making the final adjustments.

And the most exciting part?

In just a few months, our client will hopefully feel more confident wearing crop tops, beautiful bikinis on holiday and her favourite dresses!

This is why I love cover-up projects. It's not just about changing a tattoo — it's about helping someone feel confident in their own skin again.
