Indian Head Massage - but not as you would expect.

One of the things I hear a lot from clients is is their upper back and neck are tight, and it feels like its effecting their head.

This is where I find Indian Head Massage can be such a lovely treatment.

Although it’s called Indian Head Massage, the treatment isn’t just about the head and scalp. I work across the upper back, neck, shoulders, chest, scalp and face, helping to release areas where we often hold a lot of tension.

And one area that is often overlooked is the chest muscles (pectorals). When these become tight, particularly from sitting at desks, driving, working on phones or spending lots of time in a forward posture, it can contribute to tension through the shoulders, neck and upper back.

Traditionally, Indian Head Massage is often performed with you sitting upright.

But, if I’m honest, I’ve never found that particularly relaxing when I’ve had one myself.

I have you laid on the heated bed, allowing me to work more thoroughly over the upper back, neck and scalp before moving up to the chest and face.

I’ve been a little quiet recently as I’ve enjoyed a couple of weeks off, spending some lovely, much needed time with family.

There’s something really nice about stepping back from the usual hustle and enjoying a slower pace of life. It gives you a little space to breath, and for me, it’s also given me time to think.

Belle has now been dropped off at uni, officially leaving Marc and I as empty nesters 🥹

I feel like the hustle and bustle of family life is slowly starting to lift, and I’m beginning to look forward to the next chapter. I think the next few years are going to be about learning, developing and exploring, and I’m really excited about how I can bring some of that into my lovely little business.

For now though, I’m back in my lovely therapy room on Monday, and I’m very much looking forward to getting back into the flow of everyday life.

So the hot stones are ready, heated bed is on, there may be some autumn decorations in (🤣) and I look forward to seeing you.

I've listened, and these seasons treats are very much what you have been asking for. The only issue was how long should the treatment be? Most of my ladies have little time and an hour is all you can have to yourself, though some wanted to fall in Autumn (sorry, couldn't help myself) with a much longer treatment. So there are two options.
