Mac's barbers

So this week marks 30 years since I officially started cutting hair -
Not including the 2 years sweeping and making refreshments as a Saturday girl. I never planned to be a barber/ hairdresser . My amazing auntie got me my first sat job . I was going to join the army , changed my mind last min and my boss at the time said why don’t you come and train with us full time. So to please my parents after I left school who always taught me to work hard I accepted and thought it would do till I worked out what I wanted to do . 30 years later I’m still cutting the hair , chatting to customers who have become friends , who knew the little Saturday job would be my forever career !. I’ve left it and came back , I’ve cried , laughed ,Had hair splinters in interesting places , met some amazing people (work friends and clients ) along the way but most of all I’ve loved my job for 3 decades , not many jobs allow you to chat away and make friends like mine . I’ve always thrived off the banter and barbering delivers this by the ton. So a massive thank you to my customers old and new , mum, dad and bro for being my Guineapigs and auntie Jackie for getting me my first job. Who knows where I’d of ended up with out that job.
Apparently this is what all the hair I’ve cut would look like - I personally don’t think it’s big enough !

To all my valued customers . I’ve always aimed to give you amazing service at the lowest prices possible as I’m aware how difficult life can be with the cost of living rising so quickly .
After getting professional advice on how I run Mac’s , and doing research into local prices I’ve been made aware my prices arnt sustainable moving forward . I will be increasing prices slightly from the 24th January .
I have lost sleep over this but it’s the only way I can keep going I really hope you understand .
