Hey you fabulous Souls......I can not wait to start getting you all booked back in, get you relaxed & glowing š
There is going to be a change of location to a bigger premises...I fully understand this wont be convenient for some of you & im truly sorry.
Im not ready to share the full details just yet as its still very early days....but watch this space.
I had a very positive appointment today with my physio & OT, I now have my 'shrinker' this should help with phantom pains/nerve issues. Also help shape & control swelling.
Then in 2 weeks will be the official start to my prosthetic journey, starting with the 'pam-aid' this is essentially a blow up leg that goes into a metal cage to see if my little leg can take the pressure. It will be so strange to be stood up again. If all goes well, ill have my appointment with the prosthetic team and have my 1st casting.
Im hoping to be taking bookings from the beginning of December.
Im going to be offering some mega discounted treatments, for the end of November time, for me to get back into the swing of things. Also look put for New location/welcome back offers.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for all the love & support. I honestly cant wait to see you all again.
With love & gratitude Danielle x

A HEARTBREAKING ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT MY BAWTRY SALON
I honestly never thought Iād be writing this post, and if Iām completely honest, my heart is breaking a little more with every word.
After so much love, hard work, passion and dedication, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to close my Bawtry salon.
This isnāt a decision Iāve taken lightly. My little salon has been so much more than just a business to me. Itās been a place where Iāve been able to do something I love, help women feel more confident in themselves, provide a little escape from the stresses of everyday life, and create a space where people can relax, feel cared for and enjoy some much-needed me time.
But life has thrown me a curveball that Iām still trying to navigate.
Since having my leg amputated, Iāve had to face the reality of just how much my circumstances have changed. I think, perhaps, I was incredibly naive in believing that surgery wouldnāt change my life in the way it has. I knew there would be challenges, of course, but I donāt think anything could have prepared me for the reality of adapting to a completely different way of living.
And thatās been one of the hardest things to come to terms with.
The Bawtry premises are simply no longer suitable for my needs, and as heartbreaking as it is to admit, I have to listen to my body, acknowledge my new circumstances and make decisions that are right for me going forward.
Iām grieving the loss of something Iāve worked so hard to build, and I think itās okay to acknowledge that. You can be grateful for what youāve achieved and still be absolutely devastated that things havenāt worked out the way you imagined.
BUT PLEASE, PLEASE KNOW⦠THIS IS NOT GOODBYE! š„¹
Although closing my Bawtry salon feels like the end of a chapter I desperately wanted to continue, it absolutely does not mean the end of my journey.
There are already things happening behind the scenes, plans in the pipeline and exciting possibilities that Iām not quite ready to share just yet⦠š
So please, keep your eyes peeled for updates and announcements, because Iām not done yet!
My circumstances may have changed, my path may look a little different, and I may have to find new ways of doing things, but the passion, the ideas and the determination are still there.
Sometimes life takes us down a path we never would have chosen for ourselves, and we have to find a new way forward, even when our hearts are still catching up.
To every single client who has supported me, booked a treatment, recommended my little salon, shared my posts or simply walked through my door and trusted me to look after them ā THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.
You have been part of something incredibly special to me, and I will never take that for granted.
This chapter is closing, and yes, Iām utterly heartbroken. But there is still so much I want to do, so much I want to create, and so much more to come.
This isn't goodbye. It's simply a change of direction.
Watch this space, lovelies⦠there's more to this story yet.
With love and gratitude, Danielle x

Hi you Fabulous Souls I wanted to share a little update with you all, as there are some changes coming up and, at the moment, things feel very much up in the air.
As some of you may know, Iv recently undergone a leg amputation, and the reality of it has caused far more stress, uncertainty and upheaval than I ever anticipated. Itās been a lot to process physically, emotionally and practically, and Iām doing my best to take things one day at a time.
Because of this, I may need to make some changes to how and when Iām able to offer treatments, parties and appointments. I donāt have all the answers just yet, but I promise Iāll keep you updated as soon as I know more.
Iām incredibly grateful for every message, booking, recommendation and bit of support youāve shown my small business. It truly means more than I can put into words.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and kindness while I navigate this unexpected chapter. Iām hoping to continue doing what I love in whatever way is possible, but for now, things may be a little uncertain.
Please bear with me, and keep an eye out for further updates.

āØļøFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you.āØļø
I honestly donāt have the words to thank everyone who has donated to my GoFundMe, shared my story, sent messages or simply shown me kindness and support.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, is helping me work towards something that means so much to me ā getting some of my independence back.
Since losing my leg, so many everyday things have become difficult, and being able to drive independently is something I desperately want to regain. The hand adaptations for my car will give me the freedom to get to appointments, see family and friends, get out of the house and start rebuilding my life without always having to rely on someone else.
Itās not just helping me adapt a car⦠youāre helping me regain a little piece of my freedom.
To everyone who has donated, shared, encouraged me or checked in on me ā thank you, truly.
Your kindness means more to me than I could ever put into words, and I will carry that support with me every step of this journey. š¦æ
Thank you for helping me find my independence again. # # #

I honestly donāt know where to begin⦠š
I just want to say the biggest, most heartfelt āØļøTHANK YOUāØļø to every single person who has shared, donated, commented, messaged, or simply taken the time to read and support my GoFundMe.
To my family and friends who have stood beside me through everything ā the appointments, the pain, the uncertainty, the fear, and now facing life after amputation ā I could never put into words what your love and support has meant to me.
And then there are the people Iāve never even met⦠strangers who have seen my story, shared my fundraiser, donated what they could, or sent me the kindest messages. Please know that you have touched my heart more than you could ever realise.
The money being raised is going towards helping me get a car adapted following my leg amputation. Something as simple as being able to drive independently will mean so much more than just having a car. It will mean freedom. Independence. Being able to get myself to appointments, see the people I love, continue building my business, and start taking back little pieces of the life that this illness has taken from me.
After everything that has happened, there have been moments when I've wondered what my life is going to look like now. I'm still figuring that out. But every share, every donation and every kind word reminds me that I don't have to figure it all out alone. š„¹
Some of you have donated more than you can comfortably afford, some have donated a little, and some haven't been able to donate at all but have shared my story ā every single one of those things matters.
You may never know just how much your kindness has meant to me at a time when life has felt incredibly overwhelming.
So from the bottom of my heartā¦
Thank you for believing in me.
Thank you for standing beside me.
Thank you for helping me look forward instead of backwards.
And thank you for helping me find a little more freedom in a life that is changing so much. š¤
I will never take any of this kindness for granted.
With all my love and gratitude,
Danielle

2 Weeks in hospital definitely takes it toll on your skin, mine looks and feels vile.
Little treat to me from me, for being a super brave pirate š“āā ļø
The hype seems to be right, my skin feel all fresh and squeaky clean.....lets see if i wake up looking 21 š
Also meet Ethel Little Leg.....
Freedom......im on the move š©āš¦½šØ
15/09/2026
Im on the move š©āš¦½šØ and after 6 days Iv officially left my bed (albeit only for 15mins)
Im all un-hooked from my drains, epidural and morphine driver too...definitely feel the difference. Most of my bandages are off and iv even been able to take a look myself with passing out or going funny...im not good with gory stuff.
Iv had my first post-surgery physio today, to say i was nervous is an understatement. My biggest fear was I had hang my little leg/Ethel š
off the bed, after having her straight for 6 days.
It actually wasn't as bad as I had anticipated.
I have a very tight hip flexor & hamstring which feels like they've cut it to short, but over time it will ease. I have to remember im not as flexible nor a spring chicken as I once was.
I can transfer safe & well šŖ, so now means I can go out around the ward in my wheelchair but im still waiting for my stump/little leg support (everything is so bloody expensive) to be able to go get some fresh air.
Im feeling very proud of myself and its given me the boost I desperately needed.
Still slow & steady but I definitely feel im moving in the right direction.
Thank you all again for the continued messages of support & kindness š I really am extremely grateful.
