Another ps5 for sale....there was a few asking for one. Boxed (no original sleeve) with controller and cables £430.
🎮 PS5 turning on but showing no picture?
A damaged HDMI port is one possible cause—but the fault can also involve the circuitry behind it.
At PlayBox Console Services, I diagnose the problem and explain the repair options before proceeding. From HDMI port replacement to damaged motherboard traces and component-level repairs, the work goes beyond simply swapping parts. 🔧

Done at another shop......🤦♂️
“Freshly repaired by another shop…” 👀
An HDMI port shouldn’t be doing a wee dance when you move the cable 😬
This is how it arrived at PlayBox after its recent repair. Time for a closer look at what’s holding it in place 🔍🔧

We’ve come a long way in under 4 years! 🔧🎮
Looking back at where PlayBox started with the 1st few days in the current location makes me proud of how far it’s come. A lot of hard work, late nights and investing back into the business — all made possible by everyone who’s trusted me with a repair, recommended me or supported the page for that i truely thank you all from the bottom of my heart. 💚💙
Next year promises even bigger changes, hopefully for the better! 😁👌🏻 Still plenty to work towards, but I’m excited to see what the next chapter brings.
Thank you for being part of the journey. Buckle up, its no where close to finished yet😁👌🏻

🎮 You can bring ONE game back and experience it for the first time again… what are you picking?
The late nights, the soundtrack, that one level you couldn’t beat… we’ve all got a game that takes us straight back. 👀
What’s yours—and what made it special?
Let’s see which games get the most love from the PlayBox crowd. A few of these might need dusting off for another go! 😂🎮
Another customer getting their PS5 GTA 6 ready. This game will push these launch day PS5s to their limits (and possibly beyond depending on their condition). &clean

🔧🎮 A busy day on the benches at PlayBox!
Everyone getting GTA6 ready possibly🙏👌🏻😁
A little photo dump of today’s work, giving you a look inside the consoles and behind the scenes at the shop.
From stripped-down Xbox hardware and dried-out thermal paste to close-up HDMI inspections and a PS5 back displaying a picture—there’s plenty happening between drop-off and collection! 🔬
It’s the small details you don’t usually see that take up much of the work, so it’s always good to share a glimpse of what goes into looking after your consoles.
Thanks to everyone keeping this small local business busy. Your recommendations, shares and continued support mean a lot 🙌

🎮 From a single beep and no power… to a fully completed repair! ✅
Remember the PS5 from our earlier post? Heavy smoking contamination had left the internals in a sorry state and contributed to its problems.
After a thorough strip-down, deep clean and repair, it’s now back up and running — with a huge difference inside, as you can see in the video! 💪
Another console saved and ready to get back to gaming.
