One thing I’ll always do on a wedding morning is check in. More bronze? A little extra glow? Anything you want softened, added or adjusted? I’ll always ask and reassure you as we go, because your makeup should feel completely right for you. The look we create together becomes part of your core memories forever… it will always be more than just make up!

Your trial gives us the plan, but your wedding morning is still about making sure you feel comfortable, confident and absolutely amazing before you walk out the door.

Bridal skin prep is never one-size-fits-all 🤍✨

Every step I do on the morning of your wedding is chosen strategically based on the conversations we’ve had at your trial. I focus on the areas we know need a little extra attention, using products I trust to last well and sit beautifully underneath makeup.

For Morgan, the focus was hydration, gentle exfoliation and deep moisture to create that fresh, glowy base. And skin prep doesn’t stop at the face — I always take it down onto the décolletage too, especially when there’s a strapless dress involved.

If makeup and body glow are going on that area, it needs to be prepped properly so everything looks seamless from face to chest ✨

I’ll always use a lip mask on the morning too, and I recommend using a lip scrub before your wedding morning to make sure your lips are smooth and ready for lipstick.

Lots of hydration under the eyes is also key, especially for helping concealer sit smoothly and look fresh throughout the day.

This part of the morning isn’t just about the makeup lasting, it’s also such a lovely moment for my brides to relax before everything comes together.

And the end result on Morgan… absolutely stunning 🥹🤍

Such a gorgeous morning getting everyone ready, and the best part was how much everyone loved their makeup. There’s nothing better than seeing the full bridal party feeling confident, excited and ready for the day ahead.

Also, a little note on filming bridal mornings, I will always ask before getting anyone on camera. Not everyone wants to be filmed, and that is absolutely fine. Your wedding morning should feel relaxed and comfortable, and I’ll always respect anyone who would rather stay off camera.

A little diary reminder while I’m here: availability is limited just now with school holidays and weddings. I’ll mainly be working longer days on Thursdays and Fridays during the holidays where possible, so if you can’t see a slot that suits, please use the waitlist.

I won’t know you’re hoping for an appointment unless you’re on the waitlist, and makeup appointments are harder to move around as they’re usually for a specific date and time 🤍

Such a gorgeous morning painting Kirsty and her bridesmaids, and they all looked absolutely amazing before heading off to the venue.

Also, bridal makeup artist duties are never just makeup… because when your bridesmaids have already left and you need help getting to the loo before you set off, I’m there for that too 🤣

We’re so much more than just a supplier on your wedding morning. We’re part of the calm, the laughs, the little fixes, the timings, the dress checks and apparently, the emergency loo trips too.
