So thankful to have been the LEAD MUA for the first ever SCOTTISH FASHION WEEK, along with Frazer Wallace being the LEAD HAIR STYLIST.

Ive worked with Frazer many times now, so I’m always super grateful for his belief in my creative input/vision. Makeup is a highly competitive job, and he never fails to put my name forward and bring me work experience wherever he can. Together we’re a power house 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Some gorgeous faces I did as the lead MUA for Scottish Fashion Week at the V&A

SCOTLAND. THE ELEMENTS.

Using all VIEVE

Each aspect of the face was inspired by the elements of Scottish landscape and weather, incorporating texture. The brows represent wind, framed by the eyes representing mist, fog and smoke. While the thick lash represents the silhouettes of trees in Scottish forests.

The face is inspired by wet rocks along Scottish shorelines. Sculpted and sharp with a matte centre, whilst the highest points appear wet and glossy.

The lips are to represent Scottish rain, lochs and spring water. Sparkling in the sunlight.

I particularly wanted the blush placed in the centre of the face, a much more natural and realistic reaction to the harsh elements of Scottish weather.

This look was the only one that included colour across the eyes. But I had to represent the flower of Scotland in some way! Thank you to Jamie / VIEVE for sending me such an amazing kit!

Im so proud of this concept, especially as we celebrate the up and coming designers from across Scotland!
