I can’t quite believe I’m writing this but this weekend marks five years since Ashton Artistry opened its doors.

There is so much I want to say but to keep this post short and sweet I’d just like to say a huge thankyou from the bottom of my heart. Whether you’ve had one appointment, 50 appointments or have been a silent supporter, you’ve all played a part in keeping the doors open.

It’s not been an easy ride, but I wouldn’t change it for the world 🥹💕

Brown Hybrids 🐻

Brown lashes are super popular with redheads, they compliment this hair colour so well! If black sometimes feels a little harsh and unnatural, brown lashes are perfect for a softer look.

I’ve been doing makeup professionally for quite some time now, the most booked services are ‘eyes only’ or ‘full face’ which are now the only two services for makeup I offer.

However recently with the rise of the “clean girl” makeup trend I’ve noticed more and more clients asking for the focus to be more on the base rather than the eyes.

Should there be a service for ‘base only’? This wouldn’t include any eye makeup or lashes but it would include skincare & all base products.

Would this be a service you’d like me to add?

We are slowly coming to the end of summer, it’s been lovely actually getting some use out of my brighter colours this season, we’ve probably got one more set until I start to see the autumn colours coming out, get booked in before we wave goodbye to summer 👋🏻
