Dr Chloe has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the aesthetics industry and has built a wonderfully loyal client base. I’m delighted to have her joining the clinic and know she’ll be a fantastic addition.

The start of a skin healing journey ✨

When this lovely 18 year old client first came to the clinic, his main concerns were inflamed, irritated skin, ongoing breakouts and acne scarring.

Step 1: The Foundation Facial

We started with a Foundation Facial so I could properly assess his skin barrier, skin function and how it responded to products. I also looked at pore size, oil production, the type of comedones present and the extent of scarring. Using magnification allowed me to get a detailed picture of his skin so we could create a personalised treatment plan.

Steps 2 & 3: Calm, Clear & Rebuild

The priority was to calm inflammation and decongest the skin, so we chose my bespoke antibacterial facial.

These treatments, spaced one month apart, included:
✨ Chemical peel
✨ Extractions
✨ High-frequency therapy
✨ Soothing mask
✨ Dermalux LED therapy

Alongside in-clinic treatments, we made simple but effective changes to his skincare routine without breaking the bank. We also discussed diet and identified a few food triggers that were contributing to flare-ups.

By the end of these treatments, his skin barrier was much healthier, inflammation had reduced significantly and active breakouts were far less frequent.

Next step: Microneedling

With his skin now stronger and more stable, we introduced microneedling with LED therapy to target the remaining acne scarring.

He’s now had two microneedling sessions, and although there are more to come, his skin is noticeably calmer, less reactive and much more predictable.

Every skin journey is different, but building a healthy skin barrier first is often the key to achieving long-lasting results. 💚
