Had a hair transplant? The procedure may only be one part of your hair journey. 🌱
After transplantation, both the newly placed grafts and your existing hair need time and appropriate care.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) uses a concentrated preparation from your own blood and may be considered as part of a clinician-led programme to support scalp and hair follicle health following a transplant.
Timing matters, so PRP should only be considered once appropriate aftercare and healing have been discussed with your transplant team.

Read What Summer Did to Your Skin in Rachael's latest blog. ☀️
It answers five common post-summer skin questions, including:
✨ Why foundation may sit differently
✨ Why skin can feel rough or congested
✨ Why your complexion may look tired or dehydrated
✨ Why pigmentation becomes more noticeable
✨ When it is safe to consider laser or IPL after a tan
Sometimes the right response is a treatment. Sometimes it is a small adjustment to your skincare routine. Sometimes, the best advice is to do nothing at all.
Microneedling: true or false? 🤔
There are plenty of myths surrounding microneedling, so we put some common questions to our clinician:
✨ Is microneedling suitable for thin skin?
✨ Can microneedling improve the appearance of scarring?
✨ Can you exercise immediately after treatment?
Think you know the answers? Watch the reel to find out!
Every person’s skin is different. A consultation allows us to assess your skin, discuss your concerns and advise whether microneedling may be appropriate for you.

Cryotherapy, step by step: what actually happens when a benign skin lesion is treated.
Following our recent Reel, here is the full walk-through:
Assessment first. Nothing is treated until a clinician has examined the lesion and confirmed it is benign, and that you are a suitable.
If a lesion is new, changing or in any way suspicious, it needs proper assessment — not cryotherapy.
We measure. Size and position are recorded before we start, so the area can be compared at your review.
We freeze. A fine, controlled jet of extreme cold is applied directly to the lesion. No blade, no stitches, no anaesthetic.
It heals naturally. The treated tissue is left alone; over the following days and weeks it typically darkens, crusts and falls away.
Little to no downtime, and most appointments are completed in minutes. You may feel a brief cold sting, and the area can be pink or tender afterwards.
Not everyone is a suitable candidate, that is exactly what the consultation is for. Save this for reference, and book via the link in bio.
Individual results and healing times vary.
❄️ Come with us for a cryotherapy treatment at DRVICTORIA™ Clinic.
Cryotherapy is a quick, minimally invasive treatment that uses controlled freezing to target suitable benign skin lesions, including:
• Skin tags
• Warts and verrucae
• Cherry angiomas
• Seborrhoeic keratoses
• Certain other non-cancerous skin growths
During your appointment, our clinician will explain the procedure, measure the lesion and carefully apply the freezing treatment. The treated area then heals naturally, with the lesion usually reducing or falling away over time.
Appointments are 20 - 30 mins, with little to no downtime, although healing times and results vary.

Suspicious, changing or uncertain lesions should be assessed by The Mole Clinic, to confirm that it appears benign, before seeking removal.

✨ Still bothered by white, blonde, grey or red facial hairs?
Many people are surprised to learn that laser hair removal is not effective on all hair colours. Laser works by targeting pigment, which means lighter hairs often need a different approach.
⚡ Electrolysis can effectively treat individual hairs regardless of their colour.
✔ White facial hairs
✔ Blonde upper lip hairs
✔ Grey chin hairs
✔ Red hairs that haven't responded to laser
At DRVICTORIA™ Clinic, Mauri provides professional electrolysis treatments to help achieve smoother, clearer skin with a personalised treatment plan.
💬 Have you noticed light-coloured hairs that laser couldn't treat?

🌟 Acne Awareness Month: Let's Talk About Acne
Acne is one of the most common skin concerns we see, yet there are still many myths surrounding it.
❌ Acne isn't caused by being "dirty"
❌ Toothpaste isn't an acne treatment
❌ Picking spots rarely helps and often makes things worse
Acne develops through a combination of factors including:
🔬 Excess oil production
🔬 Blocked pores
🔬 Inflammation
🔬 Acne-causing bacteria
🔬 Hormonal influences
The good news? There are evidence-based treatment options available that can help improve acne and reduce the risk of long-term scarring.
The best place to start is with an Observ Skin Analysis to explore the underlying causes.
