It’s Monday which means it’s ’Monday Mindset Time’

Saturday was World Mental Health Day, and it honestly got me thinking about how rubbish we are putting ourselves first.

As business owners, mums, partners, friends . . We pour into everyone else constantly, and I don’t know about you guys, but the second I do something ‘for me’ the guilt kicks in!

But here’s the thing, YOU CAN’T RUN ON EMPTY. A walk, a bath, a coffee . . in silence 🤣 It’s not selfish, it’s maintenance.

This is not a ‘here’s the sign to book your appointment post’ It’s more of a GIRL PUT THAT PHONE ON DND for 60 🤎 (However, you can of course DM me if you do want to book in. ☺️)

Time to fix the plan, what are you doing this week for YOU??

Four years ago I was sat on the sofa with a newborn Abel, wondering what I actually wanted for me.

For the first time in a long time I had the chance to start something new. Find a career i loved rather than a job that ‘paid the bills’. Something that I could grow, while still being present. Not just for Abel but for Brook and Kacie too because all my kiddos need their Mumma!

So I trained. Then trained some. Then we moved and I had my little garden studio built.

It wasn’t always easy (hello, mum guilt and late nights 🙈) but every single client who trusts me with her face now reminds me of why i started. I get to do all the Mum stuff and still have a career I love.

If you’re sitting on an idea right now, this is your sign. It doesn’t matter if you start small. Just start. 🤎

Who else took the risk and started something while juggling life?

Something I’ve realised more and more recently is that when it comes to success, you only get back what YOUR’E willing to put in.

You can have the ideas, the talent, the plans and the dreams… but ultimately, it’s the work you put in behind the scenes that gets you where you want to be.

And it won’t always go to plan.

There will be knock backs. Quiet weeks. Things that don’t work. Moments where you question whether all the effort is actually worth it.

But I really believe it’s what you do in those moments that makes the difference.

You can let a knock back break you, or you can let it make you. Because the hard truth is, nobody is coming to build the life you want for you.

If you want something badly enough, you have to be willing to work for it, learn from the s**t bits, pick yourself back up and keep showing up. Especially on the days when it would be easier not to.

You really can be whatever you want to be.

But you have to want it enough to keep going when it gets hard! 🤎

The most incredible day of education yesterday, focused on all things realism and hair strokes.

Met some amazing other artists and caught up with some familiar faces too.

Corinna Calori | 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲 | 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘂𝗽 the education and knowledge was amazing as always. You will forever be an inspiration to me and I am so grateful that this career bought friends like you into my life 🤎

The question is, what are you waiting for?

Let’s fix it 🤎

Comment the word HELP and I can tell you exactly how.

14/09/2026

We spend so much time thinking about the next goal, the next milestone, earning more money, growing the business, getting the bigger house, booking the holiday, or achieving whatever it is we’ve decided will make life better.

Sometimes we forget to look at what’s already right in front of us . .

Happy, healthy children.
A partner who loves you.
Friends and family who genuinely support you.
A body that’s healthy and allows you to get up every morning, go to work and build something you’re proud of.
A home. A family. A life that, once upon a time, you might have dreamed about having.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting more for yourself. I’ll probably always have another goal I’m working towards, but sometimes I’m so focused on what I want to achieve next that I forget to appreciate how lucky I already am.

So this week, instead of focusing on what you don’t have yet, take a minute to look around at everything you do have.

Because sometimes we already have far more than we realise. 🤎

I blushed these lips 21 months ago . .
And they still look like this 😮‍💨

Seeing my work again nearly two years later makes me so happy. The colour is still soft, even and beautifully natural which is exactly how lip blush should age.

It’s easy to show lips immediately after treatment, but the healed result is what really matters. This is what carefully chosen colour, good technique and proper aftercare can achieve.

Of course, everyone’s retention will vary depending on their skin, lifestyle and aftercare but these are just beautiful and deserved to be back on the grid 🤎

Sometimes the best way to create a beautiful new result is to first make space for it.

On Monday, I’ll be completing specialist training in Hanafy Saline Removal giving me another option to help clients who are unhappy with old, dark, oversaturated, discoloured or misplaced permanent makeup.

Saline removal works by carefully implanting a specialist removal solution into the unwanted pigment. During the healing process, pigment is gradually lifted towards the surface and removed through the skin.

Removal is a process, and multiple sessions may be needed. Complete removal can never be guaranteed but every treatment plan will begin with an honest, personalised assessment.

More information and consultations coming soon. 🤎
