Glam will be closed on Thursday 3rd September, as Brooke and I will be attending the funeral of our lovely client, Audrey. 💜

We are really going to miss Audrey coming into Glam. She was such a special person and always brought so much life and laughter with her.

She would come in, get her own gown on, and somehow always end up wanting to do the dishes too! 😂 She would sit and show us funny things on her iPad, have us laughing, and just light the whole place up. There was honestly never a dull moment when she was in!

Audrey was a truly lovely person, and we feel so lucky to have known her and shared so many laughs with her over the years.

She will be greatly missed by us both, and we’ll be thinking of her and her family on Thursday. 💜

Rest easy, Audrey. You were one of a kind. 🕊️💜

Meet Holly 💕

Holly is our Saturday girl and the youngest member of the Glam team! 💖

She’s already a huge help around the salon and, come September, she’ll be starting college to begin her hairdressing journey. We can’t wait to watch her grow and develop over the next few years. ✂️✨

For now, you’ll find Holly keeping the salon running smoothly – washing hair, answering the phones, helping out with the odd blow dry, making plenty of teas and coffees… although we’re still working on perfecting that black coffee! 😂☕ And of course, washing Brooke’s brushes seems to have become part of her daily job description too! 🤣

Holly can be a little shy when you first meet her, but it doesn’t take long before her personality comes out and she’s chatting away with everyone. She’s fitted into the team perfectly and we’re so glad to have her. 💕

For someone so young, Holly is already amazing at blow drying and has a real natural talent. We can’t wait to see what she’ll achieve once she starts college.

Outside of the salon, Holly loves spending time with her friends, going out for a drive now that she’s just passed her test and she loves a night out!!! 🥂🎉

We’re so excited to have Holly as part of Glam, and we’re looking forward to watching her grow into an amazing stylist over the years. Keep an eye on this one! ✨💕

Meet Sallie 💕

Sallie started her hairdressing journey back in 2009… then took a little break to go off travelling around Australia 🌏

After travelling, she worked at Elan, then moved on to Studio 92, and later joined us here at Glam after her maternity leave – and she’s been part of the Glam girls ever since 💕

Her favourite thing to do is cutting – especially bobs and short hair ✂️✨

Outside of work, life basically revolves around her little girl Georgia… who also doubles as her regular hair model, getting her hair cut pretty much every week 😂✂️

Outside of work it’s family time, wine 🍷, an odd bar 10 cocktail here and there and catching up with friends whenever she gets a minute.

Sallie brings a proper calm-but-chaotic mum energy to the salon… one minute she’s talking bobs and precision cutting, the next she’s being bossed about by a small human at home 🤣

Lovely, down-to-earth, and always up for a laugh, she’s slotted into Glam perfectly 💕

Next up is Brooke – Angie’s daughter, and if you ask her… the real boss of Glam! 🤣

Having grown up around salon life, Brooke has always been part of salon life and has now been doing lashes and brows for coming up to 3 years. ✨

If you’ve ever visited the salon, you’ll know Brooke loves a good chit-chat with all the clients. You’ll also probably have witnessed her butting into her mum’s conversations and keeping Angie right – it’s practically part of her job description at this point! 🤣

Brooke’s favourite treatments to do are Korean Lash Lifts and Brow Laminations, and her go-to product has to be the Boo Beauty Korean Lash Lift range. 🤍

Outside of work, Brooke loves travelling and is always planning her next holiday. She’s also single-handedly keeping the delivery drivers busy, with new shoes regularly arriving at the salon door!🫢🤣

One thing Brooke definitely doesn’t mess about with is the cancellation policy! Consider yourself warned! 👀🤣

Whether she’s perfecting brows, lifting lashes, chatting with clients or reminding Angie who’s really in charge, Brooke brings plenty of laughs (and a little bit of chaos) to the salon every day.

💕 Team Glam wouldn’t be the same without this ‘Diva’. - we hear this word far too many times a day!!🤣🫢

✨ MEET THE TEAM ✨

First up, it’s Angie – the boss lady behind Glam The Salon 💕

Angie has been hairdressing for around 25 years… well, somewhere around that anyway, she thinks! 😂

If you know Angie, you’ll know she doesn’t do sitting still. She’s always working, always trying to fit people in, and is definitely guilty of far too many late nights because she simply can’t say no!

When she’s not in the salon, she loves a holiday and is always thinking about her next trip. Her favourite places she’s ever visited are Thailand and Florida – and she’s actually heading back to Florida next week for the World Cup! ✈️🌴 - (hence the Scotland flags) 🤣

Behind the chair, Angie loves all things colour. She finds foiling strangely therapeutic, loves creating beautiful blondes, and is always excited when someone asks for a bright copper transformation. 🧡

You’ll rarely find her far away from her GHD Curve Chronos, and you’ll usually spot her sporting the latest Adidas drop too !! 😂 Although, after spending her days around colour, those nice new clothes don’t always stay stain-free for long!

Angie is also a proud mum of two, and one of them even works alongside her here at the salon (keep an eye out for that introduction coming soon 👀).

Whether you’ve been coming to Angie for years or are new to the salon, one thing’s for sure – she’s always on the go, always up for a chat, and always giving 100% for her clients. ❤️
