I’ll admit it… submitting my swimsuit photos for the Miss Great Britain Classic final felt a little daunting. 👙✨

At 71, standing in front of the camera in a swimsuit isn’t something I ever imagined I’d be doing - but that’s exactly why I wanted to share these.

Getting older doesn’t mean becoming less visible, less confident or less willing to try something new. If anything, I feel more determined than ever to show that age should never be the reason you count yourself out.

I’m incredibly proud to be heading to the Miss Great Britain final representing Ayrshire, and if seeing me do this encourages even one woman to step outside her comfort zone, wear the swimsuit, take the photo or say yes to an opportunity she thought had passed her by, then that means everything to me. ❤️

Well… I never thought I’d love being on the radio so much! 📻

What a whirlwind the past few months have been! I had such a lovely time chatting about life, Miss GB and everything that has happened since being crowned Miss GB Ayrshire on Now Ayrshire Radio recently. I’m still pinching myself a little…. And this is only the beginning 👑
