Firhill Ki-aikido

This excellent picture from our Summer Seminar reminded us of the importance of proper footwear in the Dojo. Whether you have traditional zori or any standard pair of sandals, wearing them from the changing room to the mat helps protect the tatami and shows respect for the Dojo. The same rules apply at your local club just as they do at HQ.

If ever in any doubt about proper etiquette, don't be shy about asking your teacher!
