C-Section Scar Check In & Update ❤️
The top image is after 8 sessions of advanced lymphatic & C-section scar work.
What I always want to say with images like this is that this work is about so much more than the visual.
A C-section scar is never just a line on the skin. It can influence the layers underneath, the way the tissues move, how the abdomen holds tension, how the diaphragm moves and even how the body continues to protect that area long after healing on the surface.
Sometimes what we see in the lower abdomen is not simply about weight or “the shelf”.
Sometimes it is a mix of: fluid retention, scar restriction, fascial tension, protective guarding, altered pressure patterns and a nervous system that is still holding on.
After surgery, the body can remain in a subtle fight or flight state. Even when life has moved on, the tissues may still brace, grip and protect. This can affect breathing, digestion, bloating, comfort, posture and the way the abdomen looks and feels.
We also have to consider that where there is restriction and tension, there may be irritation or compression around nerves, contributing to numbness, pulling, tenderness or that feeling of disconnection from the area.
This is why our approach is never aggressive and never purely aesthetic.
We work with the body as a whole - the scar, fascia, lymphatics, breath, abdomen and nervous system - helping create more space, softness, mobility and safety through the tissues.
Yes, the visual change matters. But what matters just as much is how the client feels:
👉Less tension.
👉Less heaviness.
👉Less guarding.
👉More comfort.
👉More connection.
👉More ease in their own body.
Because post C-section recovery is not just structural.
It is also physical, neurological and emotional. ❤️
Results vary from person to person, and every body tells a different story.

Inside this course you’ll learn how to work gently and intelligently with:
👉cervical & clavicular preparation
👉facial, arm & leg pathways
👉fluid movement and heaviness
👉nervous system regulation rhythm, pace and pressure
👉Supporting comfort without overstimulation.
Pregnancy massage is more than relaxation. This work can support:
👉stress and overwhelm
👉sleep quality
👉muscular tension
👉rib, neck and shoulder discomfort

Another Block Complete ❤️
One of the things I love most about our training is that no two blocks ever feel exactly the same.
The practical and theory elements are always there, but the conversations, questions, experiences and direction of each group can be completely different. That reflects real clinic life too - no two clients are the same, and no two days are the same.
We also teach from the same space we actively work with clients from, which I think brings something really special to the learning experience. It keeps the education connected to what is actually happening in the industry, not just what is written in a manual.
We welcome complete beginners who feel genuinely drawn to learning more about the body, skin, nervous system and wellness, alongside experienced practitioners who want to look at the body from a different perspective and deepen the way they work.
For us, great education is about more than qualifications alone.
It comes from educators who have spent years actively working in the industry, across different areas, with real clients and real situations. It comes from lived experience, continued learning, emotional intelligence, adaptability and still being human enough to know that we never stop learning either.
We finish every block feeling proud - of the students, the conversations, the experiences shared and the trust people place in us when they choose to invest in their education with us. ❤️

Why There’s Advanced Lymphatic
This isn’t a course about learning another lymphatic protocol.
It’s about understanding why the body may need much more before drainage.
Our Integrated Wellness Method & Advanced Lymphatic Course brings together the nervous system, fascia, scar tissue, breathing mechanics, abdominal tension, lymphatic function and client presentation - so you can stop treating every body the same.
We explore what may be happening underneath the symptoms:
👉sympathetic stress responses and protective guarding
👉diaphragm, abdominal and hip restriction
👉superficial & deeper lymphatic pathways
👉fascia, scars and altered tissue tension
👉the gut-brain axis and enteric nervous system
👉vagal pathways and cranial communication
👉jaw, neck and thoracic restriction
👉mechanoreceptors, touch and sensory input
👉oxytocin, nitric oxide and the physiology of therapeutic touch
👉why sometimes less input creates a better response
You’ll learn our “No Drainage Yet” ethos -recognising when a client may benefit from tissue preparation, nurturing touch, myofascial work, breath, abdominal work or nervous-system-focused techniques before progressing into more advanced lymphatic work.
Because advanced practice isn’t about doing more techniques.
It’s knowing what to do, when to do it - and when not to.
This is the method we use daily in clinic with modern-day presentations: bloating, fluid retention, scar restriction, postural tension, emotional guarding, digestive concerns, stress-related holding patterns and clients who simply don’t fit neatly into one treatment protocol.
Small-group, hands-on training in Glasgow.
For practitioners who want to understand the body more deeply, work more intuitively and move beyond “one sequence fits all.”
You will learn our

The nervous system first. Always.
Because it doesn’t work in isolation - it communicates with the gut, skin, lymphatic system, immune system, muscles, hormones and healing response.
But this isn’t about telling someone to simply “calm down”, think positively or breathe their way out of stress.
A stress response is a physiological process.
It can involve changes in sympathetic activity, cortisol and adrenaline signalling, breathing pattern, muscle tone, digestion, circulation, immune activity and how the brain interprets threat.
And once that pattern is established, mindset alone may not be enough to switch it off.
This is why our clinic and academy ethos is never just about “drainage”, skin, scars or digestion alone.
We think & link.
A body that perceives ongoing threat may hold more tension, alter breathing and digestion, influence inflammatory signalling, disrupt sleep and recovery, and change how tissues respond to touch.
Even “good” things can become another stressor when the system is already overloaded - intense exercise, fasting, under-eating, over-supplementing, constant productivity or simply doing too much too soon.
So whether we’re working with:
👉lymphatic drainage
👉scar tissue & post-operative recovery
👉skin health
👉digestion & the gut
👉fascia & muscular tension
- we consider the nervous system first.
Not because every symptom is “stress”.
Because the nervous system helps coordinate how the body adapts, protects and responds.
Our aim is not to force the nervous system to be calm.
It’s to understand what it may be responding to, reduce unnecessary load, support regulation and create an environment where the body can respond more efficiently. All with trauma awareness.
Support the system. Then work with the body, not against it.

THIS IS A LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE RESULT - BUT LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE IS NOT ONLY ABOUT THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM. 🧠
This before & after left side untouched, right after full body lymphatic drainage.
But the physiology behind the response is whole-body.
Lymphatic function is influenced by far more than manual technique alone.
We’re working within a neurovascular and fascial environment involving:
Autonomic signalling - sympathetic activity can influence vascular tone and lymphatic vessel contractility.
Interstitial pressure - fluid movement depends on the relationship between capillary filtration, tissue pressure and lymphatic uptake.
Muscle tone - protective motor output and chronic guarding can alter tissue compression, movement and the mechanical environment surrounding lymphatic vessels.
Fascia - changes in hydration, tension and tissue glide can influence how freely fluid exchanges through the interstitium.
Inflammatory signalling - cytokines and local mediators influence vascular permeability, immune activity and fluid accumulation.
Respiratory & diaphragmatic mechanics - altered breathing patterns change pressure gradients through the thorax and abdomen.
And sitting across all of this?
The nervous system.
Constantly receiving sensory information, interpreting threat, pressure, stretch and movement - then altering motor, vascular, visceral and neuroendocrine output in response.
That is why our methods are nervous-system focused.
Not because we believe every symptom is “the nervous system”.
But because you cannot truly understand lymphatic function without understanding the systems communicating with it.
Sometimes we drain.
Sometimes we work with tissue tone, fascia, breath, sensory input and guarding first.
Sometimes the most advanced thing a therapist can do is understand when the body needs less input, not more.
