People joke that hairdressing changed my brain… and honestly, I think it did.
This industry has taught me so much more than how to do hair. It’s taught me how to connect with complete strangers, listen without judgement, and help someone feel beautiful on the days they need it most.
It’s taught me patience, creativity, resilience, and that confidence can begin with something as simple as fresh hair.
Somewhere along the way, I stopped seeing this as “just a job.” It became part of who I am.
So yes… I speak a little too loudly, I notice everyone’s hair, and I can formulate the perfect hair colour faster than I can remember to book my own appointments. But I also have the privilege of helping people leave my chair feeling lighter, more confident, and a little more like themselves.
And honestly, I wouldn’t trade that for anything. 🤍

This gorgeous transformation was all about bringing her hair back to life!
We started with a full colour correction to brighten and neutralise, then added seamless extensions for length, fullness & the ultimate blend.
To finish, K18 Hair Scotland treatment was used to repair, strengthen & protect her hair from the inside out.
Stronger hair. Longer lasting colour.

Being part of Joanne & Phil’s wedding meant so much more to me than simply doing my job, it was something truly special on a personal level. Joanne isn’t just a client, she’s a childhood friend. We grew up together, went to school together, and have shared so many memories over the years. To see her on one of the most important days of her life, and to be trusted to play such a meaningful part in it, was incredibly emotional and something I’ll never take for granted.
There’s something so surreal and beautiful about watching someone you’ve known for so long step into such a significant new chapter of their life. It brought back so many memories of where we started, and it made me feel so proud to see how far we’ve both come. Being asked to be part of that journey, not just as a guest, but in a role that allowed me to contribute to making the day special was a real honour.
What made the experience even more meaningful was being surrounded by so many incredibly talented people, many of whom also played such an important part in my own wedding day. To be able to work alongside people I deeply admire, both personally and professionally, made me feel truly privileged.

There’s something really special about being reunited in that way. Sharing in someone else’s joy while reflecting on your own cherished memories at the same time.
The whole day was filled with so much love and happiness. It reminded me why I love what I do.
Not just because of the work itself, but because of the moments and relationships that come with it. To witness Joanne and Phil’s love, to celebrate with them and to play a small part in creating memories they’ll treasure forever is something I’ll always carry with me. That night while in bed hearing the party still in full swing (I was exhausted after a 5am rise) feeling incredibly grateful, proud, and so lucky to have been part of such a beautiful day.
