An impeccable product. The packaging for Makeup Artists is amazing. The finish is beautiful on all skin. The finish is skin like, it’s a lightweight formula but still provides an airbrushed feel.
Clients ALWAYS ask me about this product. ✨
Wow I get through this spray. She’s always a staple in my kit, I just think she does the job perfectly.
Dior makeup formulas are just insane. This product is worth every penny. If you love a glowy finish to your makeup, you need her.
Super strong hold and quick drying, a staple for all of my updos. Hairstylists this is a must for your kit - did you know, you can also buy a refill for this product.
If you love a slick back and want your baby hairs to stay in place all day, this product is a great alternative to an aerosol hairspray.
Flex pli, she’s been in my kit for years and in my kit she will remain. Firstly, she smells amazing. Flex pli helps mould and shape the hair, encouraging it to hold its new shape. A must use before pin curling / blow drying.
She’s spenny but I do think she’s worth it. I rarely have to top this up and it’s a beautiful colour. It’s my most requested lipstick colour for clients. ✨
Thank God for ☕️😂
Something I’ve learned about myself as a business owner is that I don’t always thrive in the environment that should make me productive.
You’d think working from home in complete silence would be the dream… no distractions, no noise, just me and my laptop.
But for my brain? Sometimes it’s the complete opposite.
When I’m sat at home with no stimulation, I can find myself procrastinating, overthinking, or struggling to get started. But put me in a busy coffee shop with people chatting, music playing, cups clinking, and things happening around me… and suddenly my brain switches on.
There’s something about the background noise and the energy of being around other people working that helps me focus. It gives my brain just enough stimulation without actually distracting me.
This is one of the little things I’ve learned about myself while building my business — productivity doesn’t look the same for everyone.
Sometimes the thing that helps you get your best work done isn’t a perfectly organised office, a quiet room, or the “ideal” setup you see online.
Sometimes it’s grabbing your laptop, heading to your favourite coffee shop, ordering a drink, and letting the environment give you the motivation you needed.
So if you’re someone who struggles to focus in silence… you’re not lazy. You might just need a different environment that works with your brain, not against it 🤍
A little Starbucks admin day might just be my secret weapon ☕️✨
A lesson I wish I’d learned sooner…
I’ve been in this industry for years. I’ve worked with amazing clients, created some of my favourite looks, and built skills I’m genuinely proud of.
But if I’m honest… I didn’t always document it.
I didn’t take photos of my best work. I didn’t prioritise creating content. I didn’t realise how important it was to show people what I could do.
And looking back, I know I could probably be much further ahead in my journey if I had treated my online presence as seriously as I treated my craft.
Because the truth is… when you’re not visible, people don’t know you exist.
When I wasn’t showing up online, sharing my work, and reminding people what I do, my dream clients weren’t waiting around — they were booking someone else. My ideal opportunities were going to the people who were consistently putting themselves out there.
It’s not about being the “best kept secret”. It’s about making sure the right people can find you.
So if you’re a creative business owner who’s been waiting until your work is “perfect” before sharing it… this is your sign.
Your skills deserve to be seen. Your work deserves to be documented. And your dream clients need to know you’re there 🤍
I’m making up for lost time now — and I’m excited for everything that’s still to come ✨
The absolute fear in me & when someone walked in my front door mid updo appointment 😦
False alarm - it was my bestie bringing me a meal deal for a long day of work 😂😂😂😂 what a girl 🩷
