Introducing you all to something that has become so much bigger than meā¦ š¤
This mission is deeply personal.
Just over a year ago, I finally found the courage to walk away from an abusive relationship.
I had tried to leave before. More than once. And when God spoke to me so clearly and said, āEnough is enough, Melissa,ā I still questioned whether I had the strength to follow through this timeā¦ or whether, like before, I would find myself going back.
But this time was different.
In choosing to leave, it felt like I was stripped of everything. I lost my home, my job and, for a period of time, even being able to have my children with me.
I had spent so many years being strong, working, building businesses, raising my children and appearing to have everything together. And suddenly, I found myself having to rebuild my life from the ground up.
But it was in one of the lowest seasons of my life that Jesus showed me my purpose.
And that is where Nu Me Foundation was born. š³
Sometimes I wonder where Iād be if I never started this business š
Sometimes, the most courageous thing you can do is be honest with yourself and with the people around you.
Iāve spent a lot of time sitting with some difficult conversations, asking myself what truly feels right and what no longer does.
Iām finally allowing myself to be honest, trust Godās timing, and step into a new chapter with confidence. It isnāt easy, but it feels right.

One of the most overlooked skills in business is self-awareness.
The ability to accept where you are, be honest about your strengths and weaknesses, and communicate that with the people around you is what creates long-term growth. Better awareness leads to better decisions, stronger leadership, and a business thatās built to scale.š¤
