I’m so excited to share that last weekend I completed my Chemical Skin Peel and Skin Microneedling certifications with Glow Aesthetic Training in Wimbledon! ✨

As many of my clients know, I’ve decided to expand the range of treatments I offer at my studio, and this is just two of several exciting new treatments coming to LCT this year.

Choosing to train with a reputable and professional academy was incredibly important to me. I’m passionate about continually investing in my education and my business so I can provide my clients with the highest standard of treatments, knowledge, and care.

I can’t wait to introduce these new services and help you all achieve even healthier, more radiant skin.

You finish work at 5pm, but your muscles are often still feeling the effects long after you've logged off...

✔ Reduce muscle tension caused by prolonged sitting
✔ Ease neck, shoulder, and back discomfort
✔ Improve circulation to tired muscles
✔ Increase flexibility and range of movement
✔ Help correct muscular imbalances linked to poor posture
✔ Promote relaxation and reduce stress levels

While massage isn't a substitute for movement, stretching, and good workstation setup, it can be a valuable part of managing the physical demands of a desk-based lifestyle.

If you spend most of your day behind a screen and regularly feel stiff, tight, or achy, your body may be asking for a little extra care 🤍

One of the biggest misconceptions about massage therapy is that it’s simply a luxury.

People often see massage as something only associated with spas, holidays, or treating yourself once in a while. But in reality, massage therapy can play an important role in supporting both physical and mental wellbeing.

Many people spend their days sitting at desks, standing for long hours, training intensely, carrying stress, or pushing through pain and tension without ever giving their body time to recover. Over time, that stress shows up physically. Tight shoulders, headaches, back pain, poor sleep, fatigue, anxiety, muscle soreness, and burnout are only a few of the problems that may arise from everyday activities and stressors.

Massage therapy is not just about relaxation. It can help reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, support recovery, calm the nervous system, and create space for the body and mind to reset.

We normalise being constantly stressed and exhausted, but often view rest and recovery as “extra” or unnecessary. The truth is, taking care of your body should never be seen as a luxury.

Your health matters. Your recovery matters. And you don’t have to wait until your body is in pain to start looking after it!

Your lymphatic system is a network of vessels and nodes that transports lymph - a fluid containing waste products, toxins, and immune cells. Unlike the cardiovascular system, it doesn’t have a central pump. It relies on movement, breathing, and external stimulation to keep fluid circulating.

When lymph flow slows down, fluid can accumulate in tissues. This is often when you notice swelling, heaviness, fatigue, or a slower recovery after travel, stress, or illness.

– Increasing lymph vessel contraction (lymphangion activity), helping move fluid more efficiently
– Redirecting stagnant lymph toward functioning lymph nodes
– Supporting the removal of metabolic waste and excess proteins from tissues
– Reducing localized inflammation and edema
– Encouraging parasympathetic (rest and repair) activation, which supports overall recovery

Research has also shown that improving lymph flow supports immune surveillance - the process by which immune cells circulate and identify potential threats in the body.

– Experience water retention or swelling
– Travel frequently (especially long flights)
– Deal with inflammation or feel constantly “puffy”
– Are recovering from intense training or illness
– Want to support overall detoxification and immune efficiency
