Hello my beautiful clients 🫶
I know I’ve been quiet on here lately — between moving from the salon to my home salon and staying busy with appointments, life has been full! I’m so grateful for all your loyalty and support. ❤️
I’m currently studying and starting new courses, which means I’ll need to reduce my hours. For now, I’m not taking on new clients so I can focus on looking after my lovely regulars.
Amid all the moving, working, and learning, I’m squeezing in a little holiday to recharge for this exciting year ahead. Thank you all for trusting me and keeping me busy — I truly appreciate every one of you! 💕

🚫 Why I Don’t Do Acrylics or Gel Nails for Under 16s 🚫
I’m often asked to carry out acrylic or gel nail treatments for children — my answer will always be no.
Here’s why it’s risky for young nails:
• Weaker nail plates – under 16s have softer, thinner nails that can be permanently damaged by strong glues, filing, and heavy products.
• Risk of lifelong allergies – exposure to acrylates and gel chemicals too early can trigger skin or respiratory allergies that never go away.
• Skin sensitivity – young skin around the nails is more delicate and can burn or blister from products or UV lamps.
• Interference with natural growth – harsh prep and removal can slow down or distort healthy nail development.
I’m aware this becomes a big temptation in half-term when kids see friends or influencers with long nails — but we need to think about the future and their long-term nail health.
As parents, you’re here to protect them. As professionals, we’re here to educate our clients.
My salon is built on hand and foot health, not quick money. I will always choose safe, age-appropriate treatments — protecting their nails now means healthier hands for the future. 💅✨

✈️🌴 Top 5 Pedicure Mistakes to Avoid Before Holiday Travel 👣☀️
Planning a getaway? Don’t let a rushed or careless pedicure ruin your holiday feet! Here are the top 5 mistakes to avoid before jetting off:
1. Booking Too Last-Minute ⏰
Give your skin and nails time to settle! Book your pedicure at least 24–48 hours before you fly to avoid smudges, swelling, or irritation.
2. Shaving Right Before Your Appointment 🪒🚫
Shaving can cause micro-cuts, increasing the risk of irritation or infection during a pedicure. Wait at least 24 hours before or after!
3. Ignoring Foot Issues Before You Go 🦶🔍
Cracked heels? Thickened nails? Don’t wait until you’re on the beach. Address any concerns early—or see a foot care professional if needed.
4. Skipping Sunscreen on Your Feet 🌞🧴
Yes—your feet can burn too! Don’t forget SPF, especially if your toes will be out in sandals all day.
5. Choosing the Wrong Footwear for Travel 👟👠
Don’t go straight from salon to tight shoes. Open-toed or loose footwear helps your polish set and keeps feet comfy during travel.
💡Pro Tip: A good pedicure isn’t just about pretty toes—it’s about preparation, care, and comfort too!

Pedicure vs. Medical Pedicure – What You Need to Know 👣✨
A regular pedicure focuses on making your feet look and feel great—nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, and polish. We use medical-grade products 🧴 for hygiene and results, but our treatments are not classed as medical pedicures.
A medical pedicure is for specific foot health issues like fungal nails, corns, or cracked heels, and must be carried out by a qualified podiatrist or medically trained foot care professional 👩⚕️🦶.
✅ Tip: Always ask questions and make sure the person offering a medical pedicure has the right qualifications. Your feet deserve the best care!
