It’s a wedding day!

I haven’t been here for a very long time but I can’t wait to go back to Kings Croft Hotel for Linzi’s big day today

Professional photos of Polly’s wedding who was married back in June at Hazlewood Castle… right in the middle of that hot spell!

She went for purple eye makeup to match her purple colour scheme and it matched her personality and colour scheme perfectly.

I had such a great morning with these lovely ladies… they all went for something a bit different to each other… which is always great to do a bit of a mix on a wedding morning. It keeps thinks interesting.

Including once very special one in Cyprus. Luckily our mega hot summer will have trained me well for the rather warm temperatures.

My 25th bride of 2026 who I met at a wedding Fayre a long time ago! She doesn’t like loads of makeup on her face…. But she was wearing her glasses on her wedding day so she needed her eye makeup to be enough so it would show from behind her specs!
As a fellow glasses wearer I know her pain… so here is what we created.. and we can still see those freckles poking through.

Purples have featured heavily in my brides 2026 colour schemes… and as we begin to move into autumn this is changing to plums and dusky purples!

It’s a wedding day!

Today I’m staying nice and local as I go to Holiday Inn Leeds - Brighouse to get Grace ready for her big day!

It’s almost that time of year again.

On the 27th September I’ll be back at Pontefract Racecourse with Yorkshire Wedding Consortium for our wedding fayre.

I’m not just saying it but it really is a fantastic fayre. Lots of stuff to be won, family fun, and all round great place to find your wedding suppliers.
