FRIZZ DOESN’T HAVE TO WIN! 💥✂️⚡️❤️

Wow, my beautiful client has stunning curls but she really struggled with frizz particularly at the back of her hair. We made huge progress in her first visit to improve the quality of her curls!

⚡️ There is “good” frizz, don’t forget that! Some curl types are naturally porous and that’s okay!

⚡️ Water is the key ingredient 💦

⚡️ Patience is key. Everyone loves a quick fix, but sometimes it does pay off to take time, especially with thick, porous hair. It’s science baby!

⚡️ Embrace the diversity of your curl type. Not everyone’s hair has uniform curls, in fact, most people have more than one curl type on their head!

I have been learning British Sign Language and when my lovely deaf friend/client Rachael visited today I was practising. She searched for the BSL word for “Curly Beast”… turns out there isn’t a word for “Beast” but when she asked Ai… this is what the search turned up!

This is what impact Curly Beast has had on the internet so far!! WOO HOO!!!

This transformation was from two years ago, and it just popped up and I had to post it… I have hundreds of photos I never managed to post, so gonna really get more shared to spread the love!

I have good news! From September I am going to be starting work FULL TIME HOURS ✂️💥⚡️😍🌈

⚡️ My little monkeys Locke and Finn start Reception in September so I will be working more! Mint news for those of you who struggle getting booked in!

⚡️My hours are changing! I will be working more Monday - Friday; 9 til 5 vibes. So any bookings made from September onwards will reflect that.

⚡️ I will still work weekends and evenings, but hours will be reduced to alternating weeks. I will add on some Sunday ad hoc and post these extra appointments weekly.

⚡️Onward and upward for Curly Beast, I have lots of exciting things planned including Curly Beast Bridal (eeek!) & Merch! Coming soon! ⚡️💥✂️❤️🌈

REAL LIFE CURL PROBLEMS SOLVED ✂️

She went BIG, she went LAYERED
AND I GODDAM LOVE IT!!

Here’s the story:-

⚡️ She text me and asked for a haircut like a layered wolf cut with fringe, but her inspiration pics were wavy - not her texture (see inspo photos)

⚡️ I said GIRL, yes we can do it but let me show you that cut on a texture similar to yours! (See Inspo photo)

⚡️ Her texture is tight curl but it’s not super thick so we needed a fluffier cut with way more dynamics and extremely short layers to keep that fullness at the crown.

⚡️ LOOK HOW SIMILAR THE AFTER IS TO THE INSPO PIC I SENT HER!!! EEEEEEK!!!

I WANT to give you your dream cut but just be aware not all cuts will look like the picture you had in your mind… sometimes we gotta pivot to find the right thing for your curl texture!! GIRRRRRRL ⚡️❤️💥✂️❤️🌈✌🏾 FIERCE BABY!
