When dancing with friends and a drink in your hand means something very different...........
So many challenges have met me head on these last few weeks.
Life has felt heavy and incredibly challenging, with triggers appearing left, right and centre. But when you’re taking care of the people you love, you dig deeper & find strength you didn’t know you had.
And in some ways, this has been a reminder of exactly why I do what I do.
Yesterday, Anji & I came back to the studio to plan the new term and honestly, I can’t quite describe how healing AnandaDance is.
I don’t have all the words for it yet, but something shifted.
There was lightness & laughter, there was movement just for the joy of moving.
Just us, some incredible music and a bottle of water in our hands, dancing because it feels GOOD & for a little while, nothing else mattered.
And that feeling of getting out of your head and back into your body is so incredibly empowering.
This is only scratching the surface of what AnandaDance means to me.
So if you’ve been stuck in your head lately, carrying too much, overthinking everything or simply needing to feel like YOU again, this is your sign!!!
Get out of your head.
Get into your body.
Move.
Feel.
Awaken.
The main studio is now closed ready for it's transformation!
Lots of work to do, but it's all exciting and I hope you all love my vision as much as I do when you return to class.

Who says accessible exercise has to be anything other than joyful?
AnandaDance Chair is bringing all of the energy, all of the fun in a more accessible way.
We are trialling this new 45 minute class for 4 weeks starting on Thursday 1st October 1.30pm.
If there is enough demand we will add this as a permanent fixture to the timetable.

A little birthday tribute to the founder of Reiki Master Mikao Usui.
What a profound legacy he has gifted to the world. This practice changed my life and I will always be grateful for his teachings.

These sessions have been one of the highlights of the summer for me!
Absolutely bonkers in the very best way!
Our last sessions are on Monday 17th August -
11am - 2-5 years - Dear Zoo yoga story.
12pm - 5-9 years - Safari Adventure yoga story.
It's so amazing to see children with their adults, having fun and enjoying yoga 🧘♂️.

Our final 2 ladies from the Reiki Level 2 cohort have tonight completed their training and now the fun and exploration can really begin.
This whole group have been so supportive of each other, and really embraced what Reiki is all about.
Over 3 training days and a 21 day cleanse period they have learned, listened, practised, channeled distantly, embraced the principles, connected with the symbols, themselves & each other.
I couldn't be more proud to be their guide and I feel so grateful that they have placed their trust in me.
Massive well done to all 7 of you! Go out and share this with the world.

Reiki Master Practitioner Level 3 - 3rd & 4th October 2026 (must have been a qualifed Level 2 for at least 12 months)
*Reiki Master Teacher Level 4 - January 16th 2027 (must have completed Level 3 above first)
Reiki Level 1 - February 20th & 21st and 13th March 2027
Reiki Level 2 - June 5th, 6th & 26th 2027
Reiki Master Practitioner Level 3 - October 2nd & 3rd (must have been qualified at Level 2 for at least 12 months)
£50 non refundable deposit to secure place. Remaining balance payable 14 days before.
