As your all aware, the temperatures this week are meant to hit as high as 36 degrees. This being said, I wanted to give a heads up to all my clients on Wednesday and Thursday that it is extremely hot in the salon.

You’re more than welcome to reschedule your appointments if you’d prefer.

This heat can affect the products especially gel and builder gels, they become much thinner and harder to work with, please bare with me, this might effect your appointment timings and take a little longer.

Feel free to help yourselves to the water provided, bring your own and bring your own fans.

long nails & builder gel

Builder gel is a soft gel meaning length is a tricky one, it’s not meant to be used for long nails, sometimes it can cause breaks when it gets to a certain length.

As you can see, my client has builder gel AND long nails. This works for her, how? She comes in every 3 weeks for infills, which is the recommended time, she takes length down slightly each time and follows my advice when I recommend taking length off & she doesn’t use her nails as tools. My dream client 🪄

Growing your nails and starting your builder gel journey isn’t a “I’ll come when they’ve grown out” or “the longer I leave in between appointments the longer my nails will be” it’s all about consistency & taking care of them 💅🏽
