💇‍♀️ Style A Head Hair Salon is looking for a new stylist!

We have a space to fill in our friendly, welcoming team and are looking for a fully qualified hair stylist who is ready to join us! ❤️

We have a lovely, established clientele who need looking after, so we would ideally love someone with experience in the hairdressing industry who can hit the ground running and make our clients feel right at home. ✨

🌸 What we’re looking for.

✂️ A fully qualified hair stylist

✂️ Preferably with salon experience

✂️ Friendly, professional and passionate about hair

✂️ Someone who enjoys looking after clients and being part of a team

🤍 The opportunity.

We would ideally be looking for someone who is self-employed, but we’re happy to explore other options for the right person!

I’m absolutely delighted to share some very exciting news — I am now the sole owner of Style A Head!

It feels particularly special to be sharing this just after Style A Head celebrated its 35th anniversary in September.

My own journey with the salon began back in 1997, when I came to Style A Head on work placement from Borders College. In 1999, I joined the salon full time, becoming the fifth member of the team at that time.

In 2007, I took another big step and bought a half share in the business. Now, almost 30 years after I first walked through the door as a student on work placement, I’m incredibly proud to become the sole owner.

Style A Head has been such a huge part of my life and I’m very grateful to everyone who has been part of its story over the years — the people I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside and, of course, all of our wonderful clients, old and new.

Some of you have been coming through our door for many years, and your friendship, loyalty and continued support mean so much.

This is an exciting new chapter for Style A Head, and I’m really looking forward to the future — continuing to build on everything that has made the salon what it is today, while keeping the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that has always been at the heart of Style A Head.

35 years of Style A Head, almost 30 years of my own journey with the salon, and now a brand-new chapter begins. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. I really can’t wait to see what comes next.
