My first day back in Darren's Barbers was INCREDIBLE! Big shout out to the best chippy in Horwich MR. CHIPS who supplied fish and chips FREE OF CHARGE for my chips and champagne shop warming do after work tonight. Just AMAZING, always excellent fresh fish and chips, great taste, great price and friendly service. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who called in today for a trim and for all the special gifts I received. I really am extremely grateful. Open Thurs Fri Sat Sun Mon. GAME ON! Today is the next level!! Darren's Barbers is re-opening today 9.30am. Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, MONDAY. Closed every Tuesday and Wednesday. My first week working alongside Simon at HAER Collective has been absolutely brilliant!!! Thank you to Simon and his friendly skilled team for welcoming me and to all my own clients who came along to support me, making this a very busy productive week. ⭐GREAT NEWS AT LAST!! ⭐ Thank you so much to Simon at Haer Collective for inviting me to join him temporarily in his beautiful salon until my shop is ready. I am so grateful to him. Absolutely first class gentleman. I'll be there from this Thursday 12th February. Hope to see you all soon. Don't know what we'll have to talk about!

Hello everyone and thank you for all your messages. I am aware of a Gofundme campaign raising funds to support me and my business. I haven’t authorised any GoFundMe or fundraising on my behalf. I’ve asked the organiser to close it and return all donations.

I’m genuinely grateful to Chloe Makin the organiser, who I don't think I know and I don't recognise from her photos, and for the thought behind it and for everyone who has already donated so kindly.

I do have insurance in place, and I’m hopeful it will cover the financial losses once everything is processed. Please do not donate further. I have contacted GoFundMe to try to get this stopped because this does not feel necessary when I have shop insurance.

I've been offered quite a few options of chairs I can use in other barbers and hairdressers in Horwich until I can return to my shop. People have been unbelievably kind to me.
