Last haul of the School holidays = making memories with my boy 🎣💙

Even when I’m out fishing, the salon admin never really stops! 😂 So today I’m juggling a little bit of work between casting lines, enjoying the sunshine and spending some much-needed quality time with my son.

One minute I’m replying to messages and sorting the salon, the next I’m cheering him on when he gets a bite! 🎣😂

Wouldn’t change this work-life balance for the world ❤️

A Little Reminder About Appointments 💕

Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients for your continued support – it truly means the world to me.

As many of you know, I always do my absolute best to accommodate appointments wherever I can. If I have availability, I’ll happily try to fit you in, even at short notice. However, there are times when my diary is completely full, and unfortunately I simply cannot create appointments that don’t exist.

Like many of you, I juggle work with family life. I’m a mum to three children, and one of them has recently had surgery, so balancing my business and home life takes a lot of planning. Because of this, I rely on my diary being accurate and appointments running as scheduled.

Today, a situation arose with a client getting the appointment time wrong. My booking system had sent confirmation email, reminder email and reminder text messages with the correct appointment details, but despite this, I was still blamed when I was unable to fit them in because I was fully booked with other clients.

I completely understand that mistakes happen—we’re all human. If the wrong appointment time is attended or an appointment is forgotten, I will always try my best to help where I can, but if my diary is full, I simply cannot move other clients or create spaces that aren’t available.

What I do ask is that we treat each other with kindness and respect. I work incredibly hard to provide the best service possible, and I will not tolerate being spoken to disrespectfully over situations that are beyond my control.

With the 6-week summer holidays here, juggling work and family is always a challenge. On top of that, my daughter is having surgery this week, so I just wanted to apologise in advance if I’m unable to fit everyone in over the coming weeks.

I have very limited appointments left, with only one or two available from the end of August onwards.

If possible, I’d really appreciate it if my lovely clients could book at least two appointments in advance. It helps me stay organised and means you’re less likely to miss out on your preferred dates.

I hate having to say no to anyone, but I do need to be a little stricter with my diary. Family time is incredibly important to me, and those of you who’ve visited regularly will know just how long and desperately we’ve waited for my daughter’s surgery.
