If you've been thinking about injectables, chances are you've already spent time going down a rabbit hole of before-and-afters, treatment names, and conflicting opinions about what's worth it and what isn't.

It can be overwhelming, and it can make it really hard to walk into a clinic feeling confident about what you actually need.

These are the conversations we have most often in our consultation room, with women who are trying to make good, informed decisions about their face ➑️

Radiesse isn't something we'd use everywhere, but in the right areas, it's one of the most effective tools we have.

What sets it apart from standard dermal filler is that it does two things at once.

It provides an immediate improvement in structure and support, and it stimulates your own collagen production over the months that follow, so the result continues to develop long after the appointment.

For anyone noticing the kind of changes that come with collagen loss, whether that's loss of definition through the jawline, heaviness in the lower face, or a general flatness through the cheeks, it's well worth understanding what Radiesse can do.

Here are the three areas where we find it makes the most noticeable difference πŸ‘‰πŸΌ

Your 40s are when most women start thinking more seriously about their skin, and also when it's easiest to spend a lot of money going round in circles.

The treatments that give the best return aren't the ones that fix one thing quickly. They're the ones that improve the health and structure of your skin as a whole and carry on working long after you've left the clinic.

These three are the ones we come back to again and again for exactly that reason ➑️

Fresher and brighter, but still entirely herself ✨️

The lower face is one of the areas that changes most noticeably with age, and also one of the most complex to treat well.

Jowling, deepening folds, loss of definition through the jawline, and a gradual shift in skin quality often happen at the same time, which is why addressing one thing in isolation rarely gives the result you want.

What we're looking at here is a combination approach, though the exact plan always depends on what's actually happening in that individual's face.

That might mean using Radiesse or dermal filler to restore structure, Sculptra to rebuild collagen over time, or treatments like microneedling and PRP to improve the quality of the skin itself.

Often, it's several of these working together rather than one thing doing all the heavy lifting.

If you've been noticing changes around your lower face and aren't sure where to start, a consultation is always the right first step. Book via the link in bio πŸ”—

Most people think of dermal filler as something that adds volume, and whilst that's part of what Radiesse does, it's not the whole story.

What makes it different is that it also stimulates your own collagen production over the months that follow treatment, which means the result continues to develop and improve long after the appointment itself.

This matters more in your 40s and beyond because collagen loss is one of the biggest drivers of the changes people notice at this stage.

The face starts to look less supported, the skin feels less firm, and there's a general flatness that wasn't there before. Radiesse addresses that at a structural level rather than just filling over the surface.

We use it across a range of areas, including the cheeks, jawline, and lower face, and it's particularly well-suited to patients noticing early jowling, loss of definition, or a change in the overall firmness of their skin.

If you're in your 40s and wondering where to start, it's worth having a proper conversation about what your skin actually needs right now. Book a consultation via the link in bio πŸ’Œ

Five things we say on repeat in our clinic because they're the conversations that actually change outcomes.

We have these discussions every single week, and over time we've noticed that the women who get the best results long term are almost always the ones who came in willing to have an honest conversation rather than just confirming what they'd already decided they wanted.

These are the five things worth knowing before you book anything πŸ‘‰πŸΌ

The best kind of tip if you ask us anyway ✨

You're not getting the most out of Cool Laser if you're skipping SPF.

This is probably the single most important thing I tell every patient before and after a course of Cool Laser, because it makes the difference between results that last and results that don't.

Cool Laser works by stimulating collagen, improving skin texture, and targeting pigmentation and sun damage accumulated over the years.

If you're not protecting that skin from UV exposure consistently afterwards, you're essentially undoing the work.

Pigmentation will return, the skin becomes more vulnerable to damage, and the results you've invested in won't hold anywhere near as well as they should.

SPF isn't an optional extra when you're having laser treatment. It's part of the treatment itself.

We'd always recommend a broad-spectrum SPF50 applied every morning as a non-negotiable, alongside a medical-grade skincare routine tailored to support and maintain your results in between sessions.
